Honestly I have been going to cristian for 3 years for color, cut, and blow-dry and not ONCE has anything you are claiming happen to me. I'm assuming your hair was already damaged and now your just looking to blame someone, which feels ridiculous. I wouldn't stand up for just anyone, but I will for him bc he is hands down the best at what he does. Maybe you should give him another chance, or just accept that your hair is damaged. For Patricia I have seen her do some of the most stunning cuts I have seen .... So not sure where u are coming from so get a life and stop putting some of the best in the business down

Not happy at all

I went to this salon based on the reviews alone. I should have known better after arriving and no clients were there just around new year. However, I had my color done with Christian and the cut with Patricia. I told Christian I wanted my highlights touched up and overall my hair to look brighter. He, I guess bleached not only the roots but also very much the entire lenght. The color looked good at first but my hair is very dameged. He left it on too long or shouldn't have done for the entire length. Now it looks very damaged and it is braking when I brush it. Horrible. I told Patricia I wanted long layers and not to loose my lenght. I ended up with no layers and she did cut the length too much.

Wonderful Haircut and Color Today!

Today I had my hair done by Patricia and Christian. Patricia did the cut and Christian did the color. I must say they both did an awesome job! It is really hard to find good people to do your hair but this salon has never failed me. Gustavo usually does my hair, but he is out of town...so I fell into the hands of these two and I do not regret it! They are also really nice, which is a bonus!

Cristian does the best blow-dry in Miami!!!

Hands down!!! Amazingggg! The best. Also amazing color and the extension master! Really, I've tried salons all over Miami Beach and the Brickell area and ever since I met Cris over a year ago, Ive been coming twice a week, every week. Whether you need an easy blow-dry to get you through the work week, a fancy one for a big night out, a corrective dye job because somewhere else turned your hair a hideous shade of orange or extensions to make you look and feel sexy, Cristian is your man and Gustavo Briand is the place.

I don't get it...

How can all these reviews be so good?

I went there based on what I read on here...

It is the first time I take the time to write a review... but I feel I have to warn people. After reading so many raving reviews about how Christian is a magician at coloring your hair, I booked an appointment...so, I don't know how from a blond that was just a bit brassy and that I wanted to fix, I ended up with a green/ grayish color...It is the WORST dye job I ever gotten...and even though he tried to fix it 2 days later because I hated what he did and all my friends told me how awful my hair looked...it got a bit better, but overall for $350 of highlight and color, it is a waste of money and a complete disaster for my hair. My hair is really dull, damaged, and still the worst color it ever looked. My opinion is: Avoid going to that salon!

I did my hair with all three: Patricia, Cristian and Gustavo. I am very hard to please. All three have "wowed" me. Patricia has a keen eye for precision and symmetry, and her haircuts are classy and well-groomed. Cristian is the Michelangelo of colorists. Before your color, he will study your hair together with your complexion to ensure your color looks natural. Gustavo has a gift for giving your hair a modern personality. He genuinely loves the clients and wants to see them happy.

I browsed through the (very rare) negative reviews and saw two trends: bad haircut/color and price. The former stems from bad communication from clients who didn't express what they wanted. As for price, the salon posts its prices on the website, so price should be no surprise.

The salon staff, above all, is warm, down-to-earth and welcoming. You will leave the salon looking and feeling beautiful.

Best Haircutter

We know that most people employed in salons do not know how to cut hair. But this guy Gustavo is amazing! He is gifted and intuitive and really knows his stuff! The salon is not the loud phony typical salon, and tastefully done for a small space. I would highly recommend!

I came to Miami for a vacation and was looking to have my hair cut & colored while on my trip. I used Citysearch to find Gustavo Briand, & I'm so glad that I did! I'm very picky about my hair, & I've had my fair share of amazing & horrible haircuts, in both small towns & large cities all over the U.S. Gustavo gave me one of the best haircuts & colors that I've ever had. I also had a wonderful experience while in the salon - Gustavo & his staff made me so comfortable, & were so professional. I'm looking forward to going back the next time I'm in Miami! Highly recommended.

Gustavo Briand is the Best, BUT...

Gustavo's Salon is my second home, since I am there at least 3 x a month. I love Cristian who gives me the best color and always surprises me with the most beautiful blow out. He is so sweet, attentive, caring and understanding of all my needs and moods (which I have, I must addmit). Dragana, the receptionist, or the soul of the Salon is a rare gem, If you are lucky to engage into conversation with her, your day will change for better, instantly.

The only thing bothering me is the music in the Salon and Gustavo's attitude. I made the comment the other day about the music, just kindly asking to change it to something relaxing and I got rude answer: You don't like it, but I do! I hope Gustavo will understand soon that clients like me are paying pretty high prices ( I am not complaining about that), and it's about what clients like. It's not about what he likes. Whatever he likes, he can listen at home (just a friendly suggestion).

You are welcom in our our salon which is like my living room, in which we get to be friendly & amicable, all our clients are our friends. In that enviroment I have created, includes the international flavour of music OMG so many things.

My commitment as an artist is to expose clients to everything musically speaking.

Feel free to bring your cds & I promiss I will download them & we as always will play Random, whenever you dont feel comfortable with it just tell us & we will play NEXT in our IPAD.

I keep asking people to bring to us things we ALL like!

I admit I was curt because I explained to you I had a rough day & you had nothing to do with it.

I appologize about it as I should & I am willing to compromise with our musical choices.
