What I love about Waves Spa is their focus on great services and customer care. No big ameneties & no outrageous prices. Just the best massages and facials in Miami. I have the prepaid series of massages so I get an hour of deep tissue massage for only $60. My experiences have been fantastic each and every time I've stopped in. Next I want to try the Rolfing treatment which I've heard from friends has given them tremendous relief.
Pros: Prepaid series of massages offer 25% savings year round.
Cons: Sometimes it's hard to get appointments for facials. They book up quick.

This spa is located at Florida International University, in the student center- The Graham Center. The location is idea for students, faculty, and staff- but also for the surrounding community. I went in today for a facial and Abigail was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the skin and I left feeling better about how I could continue to care for my problem areas. I had the organic facial and combined that with the pumpkin peel. I have been here before for the massage capsule and also for several chair massages, one in particular where I had severe pain under one of my shoulder blades. The masseuse was wonderful and was able to relieve most of the pain, concentrating on the areas that I needed work on the most. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone, especially for someone's first time. They take the time to explain the services and benefits of the services you are interested in. The owner, Isa, as well as her husband, both have a noticeable passion for helping others to feel and look their best.
Pros: Location, expertise of staff, quiet and relaxing atmosphere
Cons: Parking on weekdays- Saturday parking is great!

Skeptical about a spa at my own school I decided to give it a try in chair message and from the first one I have been addicted for about 2 years! This amazing spa has an individual treatment since the moment you walk in the door. Everyone is very courteous and pleasing since the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. I highly recommend Waves Spa and take a friend or two every opportunity I get. Affordable messages & Superstar treatment!
Pros: Convenience for Walk IN or Appt! Amazing Staff!!! Best Massages!!!
Cons: None that I can think of sorry!

I never would have expected to find a spa right on the FIU campus? And I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I'm so glad I went in and gave the spa a try. My massage was the best ever - for real! My therapist was friendly and very knowledgeable. She focused on the areas I needed most. I walked in stressed and with upper back pain but walked out feeling pain free, refreshed and happy. I feel like she really listened and took me in not like she was doing a routine that would be the same for all clients. Waves is my new favorite place. I like to go in sometimes just to talk to the staff, have some complimentary tea and read the great books that they have in the waiting area. I always feel better after a visit to Waves Spa.
Pros: results due to holistic approach
Cons: parking
