Great Food!
by Diana305
The food was good. Love the beer garden! Overall it was a great experience! Had little contact with the owner so I can't comment on the previous reviews. Our waitress was super nice!
- Pros: The Jaeger Schnitzel was awesome
- Cons: Prices could be a little better
the Owner could care less if you ever come back - Very Self Centered and Arrogant

the food is great and the people that work there are great and the server was extremely friendly.
but we had an issue with the owner a year ago or so where he was very rude and did not like the fact we had our daughter with us, this place is definatley NOT kid friendly.
we went back again and i tried to use a coupon that i purchased from www.restaurant dot com and the owner
( Alex ) not only refused it but refused to come to the table when we asked for him.
this coupon i was using was something he did to advertise his restaurant and then refused to honor it.
over all, the food was great but as far as i am concerned if the owner doesnt care if i ever come back then why should i.
there are many other fine restaurants in our area that would love to take my money and not treat me like they are doing me a favor.
bye bye Schnitzle Hause.
- Pros: Great Food and Service
- Cons: Owner is self centered and arrogant
Best Authentic Bavarian Kitchen in South Florida... period.

I've been eating at Alex's place since Edelweiss and can openly and honestly recommend The Schnitzel House to anyone who loves authentic Bavarian German food. My girlfriend and I have been dining at the Schnitzel House since it opened and have never been disappointed in the food (the best jager schnitzel, spaetzle and bauerwurst in town), beer or service.
- Pros: Super authentic Bavarian German food and beers
- Cons: lately the restaurant has been cash only
A terrible experience
by frank1939
Although this appears to be a charming restaurant our experience there was an utter disaster. As we were dining, some very noisy friends of the owner came into the restaurant and sat at an adjacent table. Because we could not converse over the noise they were making, we chose to move to another table.
After we moved, these people then began shouting across the room at us and started calling us some very vulgar names. When we protested to the owner, he said that these were his friends and he would not do anything. When we said that we would never return, he said that was OK, his friends were more important to him than our patronage.
The owner apparently has no problems with his patrons being insulted - as long as his friends do it.
So if you you enjoy vulgarity, and like having your evening ruined, this is the place for you.
I can only recommend that you avoid his restaurant.
- Pros: Charming decor
- Cons: Loud vulgar patrons
Royal Bavarian Schnitzel Haus
by mikeyeatslife
Owner Alex Richter has provided excellent food at a reasonable price for years, starting at
the former Edelweis Restaurant and now at Schnitzel Haus.
I've never had a meal I regretted or service that was less than competent.
I've ordered more take out service than enjoying sit down and the meals are just as tasty.
- Pros: The Food!
- Cons: Maybe the parking
