Ingrid is indeed very good, as the reviews suggest. She's not gentle, but she knows the body and its pressure points well. The spa is very much like her -- all business. The massage room walls don't go all the way to the top so you can hear the pedicure people just beyond the door and if anyone's too loud in the front room. I agree with the reviewer who said this is not really a spa, it's a hair and nail salon that happens to give massages in the back. So if you're looking for a relaxing spa experience in a beautiful atmosphere, this isn't the place. Ingrid's massage was very painful and although my body felt quite relaxed afterward (probably from the release of all that pressure), the main thing I went in for (tight right shoulder) was just as tight when I left, if not tighter. I would not go back here but that's a personal preference. I like a beautiful environment and people who are more sensitive and attuned to that. But if you don't care about that kind of stuff and you just want a really good deep tissue massage, then by all means, go.
Pros: the massage, location, easy parking
