Love this place-food-service-atmosphere. I take all my friends and family who come to Miami Beach to this place. Reminds me of New York.
- Pros: everything
Pricey and Mediocre

I know it's South Beach, but when shrimp and black bean sauce costs $18.00, I would expect to get rice with it. When I opened my takeout bag, no rice. I also ordered steamed vegetable dumplings, which were gummy and with little vegetable in the dumplings. A disappointing dining experience but typical of the South Beach food experience.

The menu is not very good for vegan or vegetarian options. You have to look under categories for vegetable options. The food is OK and the prices are on the high side. Parking is difficult since the location is next to Lincoln Road Mall.

I loved our meals here. Soups were great, noodles were great, chicken was great, seafood was great...need I say more. The drinks were even fun and creative. Strongly recommend...Miss Yip's is up there with my favorite Chinese across the country.

what a pleasant surprise! i've had chinese from coast to coast & generally am not impressed- but this was truly a step up from what i expected. the wine list was OK and reasonably priced- we had a great sauvignon blanc. the food was fresh with great flavors & textures. the service was attentive and better than most of the places i've been to in south beach. wonderful ambience- worth checking out.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: smallish wine glasses
Looks pretty but the taste ...bland

We ordered for delivery and very basic: wonton soup, chicken and broccoli and szechuan chicken. The soup had absolutly no taste, the shrimp wontons were very bland and the broth was as clear as water( and tasted like water as well). The chicken and broccoli had no flavor and the szechuan chicken was very spicy very pretty but not memorable. They told me that they do not use MSG but the texture of the chicken was spongy.. the tab was $42.75 and totally not worth it. I would not order from them again. The presentation was very pretty if that is worth something..
- Pros: Nice presentation, fast delivery
- Cons: Very bland

Miss Yip offers not only the best flavors of Chinese Food, but also has an ambiance that makes you feel as though you are in Asia with the service etiquette to boot. Always greeted with a smile and prompt service, quick to take your order and shortly after served a fresh hot plate of sumptuous cuisine. A place where you want to bring your family and friends to celebrate even your night out.
- Pros: Great food and service

Always fresh. Extremely tasty. I have eaten at hundreds of great and not so-great Chinese restaurants,, and Miss Yip's is REALLY GOOD. Dumplings are always fresh and never greasy. Shrimp-fried rice is excellent and my favorite is the Orange Beef. Truly Upscale, frsh prepared Chinese fare. The only Chinese restaurant worth going to anywhere in South Beach.

by far, this is one of the best chinese restaurants to go eat. The food is great, esp the sweet and sour chicken, and the dim sum is fabulous. highly recommended.
- Pros: great service
- Cons: a bit pricey

Like eating in 1930's Shanghai... glamourous red and pretty with little decorative details everywhere. The menu has all the standard chinese offerings, we tried a bunch of them and they were all good... but the drinks were the surprise, creative and delicious.
