Very Relaxing....Definitely worth the money!. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend for our anniversary. This place was awesome! The service, man it's fabulous, that's all I can say. I loved the decor, the people, the service, everything. The staff was very friendly. We never had to lift a finger. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Some people would say the food and drinks were high, I don't think so.....try going to a club in South Beach. Heck, a burger at Six Flags in Dallas is higher priced than this hotel. The veiw from our hotel room, was to die for (really ..... to LIVE FOR). Everything from the sheets, to the robe was done in good taste. I like the seperate shower. That was good. Good to have a fridge/kitchenette too. That was good for leftovers. (bring your own utensils or ask the waiter for a "to-go" set. To sum it up.......I'LL BE BACK.

Editorial Review by Cityearch Editors. Rooms at this posh resort feature private balconies, ocean views, a $6 million pool complex, four restaurants and more.

Beautiful Hotel in the midst of constuction. We spent a long weekend at the Trump Sonesta and were blown away with the service we received from all of their employees. Beautiful beach and pool which is open 24 hours, over-priced drinks ($20 + automatic 18% gratuity for 2 drinks!) and over-priced restaurant food. Sunny Isles beach is a bit of a drive to the popular spots in South Beach and Miami Beach and taxis to those areas can run $30 a trip. Shuttle service available, however only three times a day which isn't very convenient. Lots of contruction going on to the north and for our early morning trouble we were credited a $3 item off of our mini bar. The service is worth the stay, however skip the food and rent a car to get yourself to South Beach!

Trump Can Easily Be Topped. While there was nothing wrong with this hotel, there was nothing superb about it either. The service was very good and the exercise facilites were nice, but the room was overly plain for a hotel in its class and the beds and bedding were only so-so. Sunday morning brunch was okay, but not great. I cannot say that I wouldn't recommend the Sonesta Beach Resort (there was nothing wrong afterall), but I would probably stay somewhere else in the future, the price being what it is.
