Horrendous Hair

I made an appointment at this spa after calling and verifying the prices. After I had my hair done I was charged nearly 50% more than what I had been quoted. Not only that- but when I told the lady to not cut more than 2 inches off my hair she hacked off 4 INCHES! I left with an outrageously expensive, frizzy, short hair do. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star!

WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE!

YOU KNOW I WALKED INTO COCO SALON RELAXED AND ALL I WANTED WAS TO DYE MY HAIR ADD SOME HIGHLIGHTS AND GET A CUT. IT TURNED INTO MY WORST NIGHTMARE. FIRST OF ALL WHEN THE STYLIST "A. G. " BEGAN TO "BRUSH" MY HAIR HE PULLED ALOT OF MY HAIR FROM DOING IT TOO HARD! SECOND I CLEARLY SAID AND SHOWED THE COLOR I WANTED. SO HE DID MY HAIR AND HIGHLIGHTS AND DRIES MY HAIR A BIT TO SEE THE COLOR. I WISH I HADNT LOOKED. MY HAIR WAS ORANGE. SO HE DECIDED TO "TONE" MY HAIR. EVEN WORSE. MY HAIR WAS JUST ORANGE W/ OUT HIGHLIGHTS. HE SAYS HE CAN FIX IT, WHEN IT LOOKS WORSE THE MORE HE TOUCHES IT.FINALLY HE BEGINS TO CUT MY HAIR. BIG MISTAKE. I WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE LONG LAYERS. HE CUT MY HAIR SHORT. AND ITS UNEVEN . EVERYTHING WAS JUST A MESS. SO TO END IT. I CAME OUT LOOKING LIKE A 10 YEAR OLD DID MY HAIR AND DIDNT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. AND NEVER RECIEVED A CALL BACK FROM ANY MANAGER WHATSOEVER. SO MY ADVISE TO YOU...IF YOU LIKE YOUR HAIR TO LOOK BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY AND WELL WORTH YOUR MONEY...DON'T GO TO COCO'S DAY SPA & SALON.

Very Impressed

I originally only booked an appointment to get my hair done done there because my regular stylist was unavailable. When I arrived there I didnt even have to wait a minute. A woman named Sara did my hair, I was at first undecided about what i wanted, but she helped me to choose the perfect haircut and suggested a different shade for my highlights. The staff was very friendly and attentive to me, I am so happy I went there today, My hair has never looked better and i have been getting compliments about how great evrything looks! Over all, this salon experience was the best one I have ever had. The stylist, atmosphere, everything was perfect and not ridiculously expensive either. I was definately very impressed. From now on I am making Cocos Day spa the only place to get may hair done. I highly recommend Sara, she was amazing! Cant wait to to try the other spa services!

Serenity

Coco's is an unexpected treat. Upon my first visit, I anticipated a very commercial type cultureone that was smug and only visited by the local upper crust. The environment was serene and classy. The staff was sophisticated, pleasant and professional. I was looking for a place that had moderate prices and although their fees are slightly above what I wanted to pay, it was well worth it the costafter all, you get what you pay for. The prices may have been moderate-to-high, yet affordable. I was extremely pleased with the services that I received in my package, which included a Swedish massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. My massage relaxed me to sleep as I literally felt the toxins escape my body. My facial was superb! The esthetician had a lot of experience; she understood my skin type and treated it accordingly. I left her (with my face) feeling tight a rejuvenated. My pedicure and manicure was equally satisfying. My experiences overall was fabulous. I definitely recommend Cocos Spa. I mean that so much that I have my next appointment already scheduled.

Fun Day At The Spa

I received a gift certificate for Coco's and was very skeptical about using it after reading the other reviews, but I gave it a shot and am glad I did. The atmosphere was young and fun, I found the staff to be very friendly and warm. I started with a facial, massage, and manicure. I was so impressed with my services I ended up asking for a pedicure, at which time reflexology was suggested and explained to me.

That was the best pedicure of my life. I can't wait to go back.

A Bad Day at the Not Really A Spa

From the moment we arrived for a Mother/Daughter Day at the Spa, we were treated with indiference at best and downright rudeness at worst. The Spa is just a closed off area in the back, during my massage the Therapist's cell phone rang, people talked outside the door throughout. We weren't offered drinks and were never escorted to our next service, we were left to "Just stand over there and wait." Our hair was washed by a trainee who only washed the tops of our heads, the lady who blew dry my hair dropped the brush on my head numerous times, without apologizing, left my head a frizzy mess. Mani/pedi's were a slam bam affiar. Finally they tried to charge more saying the package which my husband had purchased two weeks ago, and was listed on their website, had not been available for at least a year. Stay Away!!!

This was my first time at day spa and it was not what I expected. I had to wait after even though I had an appointment scheduled. The only service I had done was a spa pedicure and I'm glad. None of the massage chairs worked, the staff did not ask me what I wanted done. The treatment was so quick, I could have done a better job myself. I have had more precious services at the small, independent nail shop. It was not worth the money. I don't think I will be back.
