I actually lost my appetite when the server brought my food out on one of my guests plate and brought me a plate 20 minutes later to seperate the food. No silverware, the bill was not itemized, and my guests French toast and turkey sausages were over cooked

In Short
This after hours deli is a popular late-night nosh spot for locals and tourists alike. Cold cut-loving celebrities, such as Jerry Seinfeld and Larry Flynt, have been spotted digging into triple-decker sandwiches--pastrami, turkey, Reubens and Monte Cristos are house favorites. The menu features hundreds of other items, as well, and crosses multiple ethnicities. A broad selection of vegetarian-friendly salads and pastas are also available.

The food here was just average. Nothing special. A bit overpriced, too. Some portions are big and some are small, so really take into consideration what your getting. Our service wasn't the better, though. The waiter wasn't very friendly and kind of gave attitude at times. He said sorry for not being so attentive, but blamed it on being busy. However, the place wasn't that busy and there were plenty of other waiters around.

  • Pros: Fun atmopshere, nice decor
  • Cons: Service, price

My wife who is from Miami warned me not to go to Jerry's deli. I explained to her that I love the one in California so we decided to go. We were seated right away but then waited 20 minutes and never found the waiter. Two other tables in our section were holding there hands up looking for the waiter as well. We walked out.

The very next day I again convinced my wife to go back for a second chance. The hostess sat us in the back next to a speaker where a DJ was playing LOUD RAP music. We moved to the front door. We got the same waiter as the previous evening. He took only 15 minutes to take our drink order. Then just 10 minutes for our food order. 20 minutes later we received our food. My sauce was wrong but the waiter fixed it. The couple next to us left because he never took their order. When the bill came it was $45.76. I gave him a $50 bill. He came back with $4.00 and ran away. Gratuity is included but he took $.24 for himself. I planned to leave him an extra few dollars but was so shocked he would steal 24 cents! He was hiding in the kitchen for a long time. I waited for him to come out, he was shocked to see me still there. I waved him over to ask him. She pretended for 5 seconds it was a mistake then admitted it was just 25cents and what is the big deal!!!! AMAZING! He didn't even try to lie to me. STAY AWAY!

Waiter: 5' 10", 45 years old, long blond hair in a pony tail. MAJOR LOSER

  • Pros: Very large selection
  • Cons: Very long wait for everything

April 27 I decided to go to Jerrys and take my wife for her birthday. After waiting for almost ten mins for someone to sit us down, my wife and I decided to sit ourselves and after waiting for ten mins the hostess who I think was of haitian decent very arrogantly told us that station was closed off and moved us somewhere else. By that time I was ready to leave but because it was my wifes birthday we decided to stay. All ready from the time we walked in there till when a waiter came to us a half hour had just passed. I ordered a pastrami ruben that took over 45 mins and when I recieved it it was somewhat cold. My wife ordered a turkey ruben that was so dried she couldnt even eat it. The whole time we were there we notice a loud heavy set man acting strange , loud and rude. Several minutes later we over heard the waiter tell a table that he was the General Manager and that he had been high all day on coke "not the kind you drink". We did notice he was pouring something into a paper cup at the bar. What was so surprising to us was that 30 mins later we had witnessed the coked up manager fire part of his wait staffed for no reason. My wife and I thought it was so rude and embarassing having to witness this incident that I will never go back there or recommend this place to no one. Food was awful , prices were very expensive and the ambiance was very hostile. This is the first time I have ever seen this in a restaruant before. A very unprofesional place. Never again.

  • Pros: I could find any
  • Cons: Bad food, Ambient, Service, very hostile enviroment

Jerry's offeres a full menu 24 hours daily. It's a great place to go for breakfast as there is something for everyone! I have found the service fast and generally courteous and the facilities are large and clean. I've never had to wait. The homemade corned beef hash is the real thing - not out of a can - best I've ever had! Coffee is hot, excellent and your cup is always full. Scrambled eggs with hard salami pancake style is also great! Don't forget to try their pastries. Seating is inside or out. Valet parking is available, but there is generally on street parking available. This is a place locals hang out - tourists too, but it's not a tourist trap.

  • Pros: Huge breakfast selection 24 hours/day. Excellent food, pastries, location
  • Cons: Parking can be difficult on weekends, but they offer valet service. Prices are a bit higher than most breakfast places, portions are large.

this place is fantastic! :)

You get a big dish of salad or burguer for a good price.

Breakfast are also very good.

I highly recommend this restaurant to any tourist/resident around Miami Beach!

If you're not in the mood for the outdoor cafes or Lincoln Foad, or the fancy restaurants in South Beach try Jerry's Deli. Suspiciously a New York import due to the food offerings......... Jerry's has a mammouth menu that offers everything under the sun. The fried chicken salad with honey mustard sauce was finger-licking good!

Jerry's menu sure is sizeable and lookds delectable. The plentiful booths are very comfy and the ambiance is fun and relaxed. It's also great that it's open 24/7, especially for party animals. However, this deli is extremely overpriced for the mediocre food that is served. In addition, service is lukewarm at best. I didn't try the desert coz I went for brunch but the cake/pie/cookie selection looks tantalizing. I totally agree that this place would have gone out of business if it wasn't for tourists!

  • Pros: Comfortable ambiance, Large selection
  • Cons: Way, way overpriced, Bad service

Just read the other reviews. I should have. Correct, the seating is very comfortable. That's the best that you can say about Jerry's. Too bad, because the location and hours are great. They should thank God for tourists, otherwise they'd be closed by now. Locals would never return. The inept waiters are another disaster.

  • Pros: Comfortable Seats
  • Cons: Horrible service, $$$$overpriced
