My wife & I decided to try Mi Casa Su Casa for a change since we always eat at the same Mexican restaurant in Hollywood. We wish we hadn't. We ordered the chicken chimichanga and cheese enchiladas. The "southwestern sauce" they were supposed to be served with turned out to be a awful chicken gravy! We asked our wait staff if they had an enchilada sauce and the person didn't know what that was but said they also had a beef sauce. We asked her to bring the beef sauce hoping that it would be better but it really was just a beef gravy, and a poor one at that. The chips were nice & warm but of the two salsas served with them, one was canned and one was mealy. There was nothing remotely Mexican about either of the dishes we tried, apart from the names. You really couldn't even call it Tex-Mex. There was also a chipped piece of black plastic in my wife's drink! We felt ill after the dinner. Even Taco Bell has better food.

Pros: Margarita was passable if you overlook the piece of plastic found in one.

Cons: horrible mexican, sauces on food very bad.

I AM COMPLETLY SHOCKED BY THE 2 REVIEWS I JUST READ. NOT ONLY IS THE STAFF EXTREMLY POLITE, BUT IF THE OTHER PATRONS WOULD HAVE PAYED ATTENTION TO THE MENU THEY WOULD REALIZE HAPPY HOUR IS FOR THE BAR AREA ONLY. I'M ASSUMING THERE TRYING TO KEEP THE PARTY/DRINKERS AWAY FROM THE FAMILY ATMOSPHERE (WHICH BY THE WAY IS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED) THE PRICE FOR FOOD IS EXTREMLY CHEAP FOR THE GIANT PORTIONS THEY SERVE AND I COULD NEVER FINISH AN ENTIRE PLATE. AND OF COURSE ON A HOLIDAY, SPECIAL PROMOTIONS DO NOT APPLY (AT ANY RESTURANT) I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR 8 YEARS NOW, ATLEAST ONCE A WEEK, AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO TILL THE DAY I DIE. THE FOOD IS AUTHENTIC AND MAYBE THATS WHY OTHERS DONT LIKE IT, THERE NOT USED TO SOME REAL HOMECOOKED SPANISH FOOD. BECAUSE IF YOU THINK CHILI'S IS BETTER, THAN YA JUST DONT KNOW REAL FOOD. I WOULD INCOURAGE EVERYONE TO GO THERE, SPECIALLY ON TUESDAY'S 99 CENT MARGARITA NIGHT. IT'S DEFINITLY WORTH EVERY CHEAP PENNY!!! THEY WERENT VOTED BEST SPANISH/MEXICAN CUISINE FOR NO REASON..

Pros: CHEAP/DELISH/FRIENDY EFFICIENT SERVICE

Cons: I COULD NEVER FINISH A WHOLE PLATE FOR DESERT

My wife and I made a point to visit during thier website-published happy hour. We were sat down and when we ordered our drinks we asked to confirm it was happy hour. First the waitress looked at her watch and then said she "thinks its only happy hour for the tables near the bar". Then, we tried to order drinks from bar and the bartender was nothing short of hostile to me when I tried to order a drink. He got upset that I had come to the bar and told me I should sit down and wait for the server. He got pretty nasty, interrupted me and pointed for me to go sit down. Our server brought us a drink and then when we wanted another, we waited... and waited. Finally, my wife tried to go to the bar and order a drink and the bartender greeted her with the same bad attitude and eventually declined to sell her one. After all that, the food was average at best. We'll never be back again.

the food and drinks were small in portion compared to price. and even news years day was a monday and my kid did not eat free, even thought they advertised it(MONDAYS< KIDS EAT FREE> my child was 3. the ambiance had a lot to be desired.- not romantic period ...the food was ok but small for the price. Service was terrible and i would not likely go back. the cacun grill in hollywood is much more friendly. the manager did not even ask me if i enjoyed my meal.. i even i do that when i cook. food did tast good but this is the last place on my list.

I love this place. Glad I found a local Mexican restaurant! Good Margaritas, especially during happy hour. Good food & service, friendly atmosphere! 1/2 price Margaritas & appetizers--Its Great!!! What's not to love? Service persons should be cautioned not to discuss their personal issues in front of customers. Otherwise its a fantastic place.

Pros: Margaritas &amp; Good Food

Cons: Queso needs flavor
