Bad experience , Primos on South Beach kills them

I had some family from out of town visiting and I had told them Steve's has good pizza .

I ordered two pies and was very dissapointed since the sauce was not sweet like it is suppose to be and had no taste.

The sad thing is I called to ask if they changed the sauce and was told it's the same recipe for 30 years . I did not even get an apology .

• Pros: If this was New York they would be out of business !
• Cons: Service Sucks !

Closest to New York pizza you're gonna get in Florida.

Ok, I'm going to disagree with the Spumoni Gardens or (L&B) resemblance because it's far from L&B quality. I know, I used to live a few blocks from L&B and we called it Ground Zero we spent so much time there. However, their lines do remind me of L&B.

Anyway, to those that are unfamiliar with New York pizza, you'll never understand the value of this place and what they do. As New Yorkers we LOVE our Pizza and we search all over Florida for the place that best meets our expectations of a true New York style pizza slice. This place has met those expectations with me, hands down. The crust isn't just undercooked dough. It's crunchy as it should be. The pizza doesn't collapse when you fold it. The crust is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside as it should be. This place is my dream spot if I can't make it up to Brooklyn. Try it. They're open very late.

• Pros: REAL PIZZA. FINALLY!
• Cons: Can't think of any

Really good pizza

I am very picky with my food, especially with my pizza, I always try to look for the pizza that reminds me of NY and this one definitely is the closest you can get to NY style pizza. There was a bit of a wait, which I learned not to order food when your starving but it was worth it. I love it and I wouldn't trade it for Domino's Brooklyn style pizza either.

Tooooo Sweet!

This pizza is terrible. Tasted like they load up the sauce with sugar. They have a special called Steves extra large - it is a lg pizza then they put 2 slices of pizza on the side. The two slices are cheese and they just add the toppings which just fall off when you pick up the soggy slice. The lg pizza looks like it is baked to order and the two slices are old. Bad experience and a waste of money. The owner needs a lesson in sauce making and buying quality ingredients. They claim NY style but are not even close.

Steves Pizza North Miami Beach - Awesome Pizza!

Steves Pizza, located on 121st and Biscayne Blvd serves up plain slices of New York style pizza that could easily be mistaken for Spumoni Garden slices in Brooklyn. The cheese and sauce mesh together perfectly, and the crust is crisp, yet soft enough for the classic pizza fold. The sauce has a hint of sweetness, but is not overpowering. The crust is thin, perfectly thin, leaving room for well over one slice.

Great pizza

I live in Bradenton, FL where we have a choice of Pizza Hut or Domino's. So of course I love Steve's pizza! Seriously, I have been to Steve's probably 5 times and the pizza seems to taste better and better each time. I love going in there and reading everyone's message's on the wall. It looks like a lot of great memories were made there.

I totally recommend Steve's!

Great Pizza, but trust them

Their food is OK and their pizza is very good, but don't trust them with your credit card number. I've had two bad experiences with them on credit card charges. They charged me for food I never ordered, which I am in the process of disputing with my credit card company. And on another occasion they were supposed to give me a charge back on food that was 45 minutes late and never did. After 12 days of being told it would be taken care (which was not) they finally replaced the food for free, which I had to go pick up. That's when I found out they charged me for food I never ordered (when going over my back statement). Warning - what ever time they tell you that your order will be delivered in - "at least double it". This happens almost every time I've ordered delivery from them. I will never use a credit card with them again,. Or will I order delivery from them ever again.

• Cons: Very bad delivery service. Don't trust with credit card.

worst experience

It is the worst pizza anyone could ever have. The bottom of the pizza is brown and hot, but the top tastes cold; the vegetables were raw, the sauce which it barely has tasted bad. It was six of us, and we all felt sick! The whole pizza from beginning to end tastes wet and soggy, it taste like anything but pizza. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Without mentioning their bad attitude. Also the place was dirty and there were flies flying around us, the table was dirty. It was a HORRIBLE experience.

Go somewhere else!

Ive lived in Italy, had the best pizza ever there. I also love to cook and many times make my own pizza. Tonight, we decided to try Steve's. Not impressed at all. I just couldn't understand the taste buds of all these reviewers applauding the place. Under cooked dough. Wrong tomatoes for a pizza! Too much liquid in the vegies made the dough so soggy. Also, the dough was tasteless. It tasted like dough. Either they didn't use enough salt or no imagination to use some herbs to take it to the next level. I just knew once I opened the box something was wrong.

I won't be going back for seconds. Don't recommend the place.

Take your chances after so many good reviews, wonder how many are false?

Great food but rude employees.

We have been ordering from Steve's for years. We really love the food, the best pizza and eggplant parm. in town. The only drawback is the incrediable rudeness of the employees. Nasty to the core.
