The food at Basilico tastes like authentic Italian, and it's in Miami! Really nice place, nicely decorated. Clean and tidy. The ravioli is excellent, with a sauce I wish my wife could make. The portions are very large, so you can take some home for a late snack. Good prices, too. I would recommend them.

My favorite Italian Restaurant

I have eaten at many Italian restaurants, but this is my personal favorite because it combines excellent food at an affordable price. They have a nice wine list and several excellent daily specials. I would highly recommend the Gorgonzola and pear stuffed Ravioli & Figs. That dish is exquisite!! On another occasion I had a buffalo mozarella Rissotto. It was a daily special not on the menu, so I decided to give it a try. I loved it, but it may be too cheesy for some.

Parking may be a problem as well as seating since it is a small restaurant located in a tiny strip mall.

• Pros: Excellent Italian food! Excellent service! Nice variety!
• Cons: Parking. Seating.

Best Restaurant in a cozy neighborhood

The staff is the best! The Pasta with Fig sauce is out of this world!!!!! (Maybe not a good as the Filet with the balsalmic reduction sauce). I love this restaurant, I am glad it is close by.

• Cons: small--sometimes you have to wait
