Hi Everyone!
By far, this is the best Pizza in town! No questions ask!!! You have that family owned and operated feel to it, and everyone is happy. And the service to the customer is priceless!!! The service is fast and the friendliest, It's rite in the heart of Bird Road in Miami.... So if you are on the way home in either directions going east or west and you have a craving for pizza this is the place to go... Believe me when I tell you that nothing will top Frankies Pizza!!! =)
By the way, Don't ever forget the Garlic Rolls, they are to die for... YUUUMMMMYYYYYYY
- Pros: The Pizza and Garlic Rolls!!!
- Cons: Well..... There's NONE
Still unique - my favorite pizza of all along with my pie of chicago (used to be one in kendall, miami)

The previous review who hated it must have gone on a bad day-i worked in and eventually owned the McDonalds down the street on Bird Road and a few others, and knew Frankie and Roxanne for 30 years plus-It was a little better when Frankie lorded over the place, he worked near 24 / 7 , but Roxanne tries hard to keep up his tradition. I've never had a better , more unique tasting pizza- all the others are clones of each other-frankies has a unique taste, texture and shape- she needs to go back to fresh mushrooms tho-i started buying the half baked and adding my own at home- mabey the bad review bought a half baked one and didn't realize it was half cooked-mabey thats why he hated it. I wish "My Pie " of chicago would come back-that was totally different tasting too-- super thick and gooey-no dried up crust there-- those two made me bored with ordinary pizza forever. Thanks for the tip that they ship thru on line now.
- Pros: No seating
- Cons: Owner often on premise
Since 1955, this iconic pizzeria has been serving up square meals to generations of pie lovers.

In Short
Walk into Miami's oldest pizzeria, but don't go scrambling for a table. There aren't any. This is a takeout joint, but you'll see hungry patrons redefine that by chowing down slices on the order counter, on an outside bench, or in their cars. The old school pies aren't triangular, but square, and diners can order them up by the slice or entire pies (that come in 5 to 10 slices).Topping choices are fairly predictable (save for the harder to find salami or anchovy), and the crust is soft and thin. The pie averse will have to do with freshly-baked garlic rolls, given the pizza-centric men, but the customers aren't coming for variety. They're coming for the comfort food that has conquered the appetites of their parents and their grandparents before that. It's the circle of life, even if it's served by the square.
Don't get fooled like I did

Drove from Kendall to get the "Best pizza in Miami". What a joke on me. This pizza is 1 step above a frozen pizza from my fridge. I'm not kidding. These reviews must be from the owner's relatives because this pizza is cut in dried up squares. Now realistically I wasn't expecting a New York tasting pizza but I never expected this. Every regular pizza chain taste better than this. The crust was crunchy like stale bread. The cheese was relatively tasty but I like a pizza I don't have to scrape of the crust to enjoy. I was born in Miami 49 years ago and never had a worst pizza.
- Pros: none
- Cons: dissapointing pizza
Pizza of the Gods!!!
by melodyluna
This is THE BEST PIZZA in the world!!! I am 1 year older that Frankie's Pizza - it is the very first pizza I ever ate (when I first got teeth @ 2 and a 1/2!) and the memory of that exquisite flavor has never left me - nor has it ever changed in 53 years! I am a Miami native and I've witnessed a lot of changes here but the 1 thing I am so glad has remained exactly the same in Miami is FRANKIE'S!!! My 5 siblings are also Frankie's addicts and we have turned-on everyone we know to the most delectable pizza this side of the Moon. It is our family tradition to have Frankie's whenever our "tribe" gets together. We literally swoon with the pleasure of eating a Frankie's Pizza! I highly recommend it to the rest of the world! Thanks Roxanne and thank you Frankie!

FRANKIE'S ROCKS
by gwolf
I was introduced to Frankie's Pizza by my older brother back in the early 80's. Since then, I have relocated to Maryland, Cuba (naval base) and Jacksonville, and then back to Miami. While away from Miami, I had the half-baked pizzas shipped to wherever I was stationed and enjoyed them at all hours of the day. Frankie's is the best pizza for both taste and value! I would recommend it to everyone.
SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!

I have been a Frankie's pizza lover for more than 15 years. Ever since I came from California, Frankie's is the place I go when I have a pizza craving. There is nothing better than watching a football game with my buddies, munching on a Frankie's square and drinking a couple of beers. Pizza is my favorite food and I have introduced my girlfriend, my brother in law and almost anyone I know to Frankie's pizza. So far everyone agrees. I always go to Frankie's and if I happen to be in South Beach Pizza Rustica is the place. Unfurtunately my kids don't like pizza, but who knows may be someday they'll join the crowd.
