For those who prefer Quantity over Quality
by ericaverg at Citysearch
If you are not a picky eater and love cheap food, this place is for you! A slice is enormous and costs around 3 dollars. This place is for the average Joe and those below. For those who prefer quality food no matter what the condition, DONT GO TO CASOLA'S!! I don't like Casola's pizza, because the sauce is average, the dough is rubbery and the cheese tastes old. Not great.
- Pros: Large slices, lots of seating
- Cons: Rubbery pizza

Pizza isn't the best, but its good for the money. They also have burgers and fries & pastas.
I'd stick with the pizza & burgers; the more simple the better. for about $4 you get a slice thats as big as 2 slices. and they have free samples of cheese slices at the counter.
- Pros: open late, free samples, cheap
Casola's: Basic and Quick and Average
by gastroscavanger at Citysearch
This eatery is located conveniently at a major intersection and lends itself particularly for those who want a quick bite. The ambience is mixed but mostly caters to male sports enthusiasts with tag-along girl-buddies in an outside/ indoor seating arrangement. I gave this place an average rating for almost every category. Granted you will receive large portions in most food items on the menu, at the end ingredients are sacrificed as being of a lower standard. This is another one of those "you can't have your large pizza pie and eat it" scenarios. If you are serious about taste and could sacrifice yourself to smaller portions try instead La Dolce Vita Pizza on SW 37 Ave next to Douglas Park and taste the difference. Personally, I was not surprised to see that this place came-out as No. 1, because Miamians are mostly mindless drones raised on fast food. Poor souls!
- Pros: Location, Fast Service, Parking
- Cons: Avg. Food, Avg. Prices =, Unimpressive
Where is the flavor?
by mannyb at Citysearch
My co-worker and I decided to go to Casola's Pizza for lunch due to the number 1 rating it received. Yea, it was a lot of pizza for a low price, but we both agreed that the main ingredient was missing: taste.
If I ever go back I will try something else rather than pizza.
- Pros: quantity of food, price, quick service
- Cons: pizza lacks taste, parking
