You usually can't go wrong with pizza and subs, but Casola's fails miserably

I have no idea why so many people have told me how good this place is. It's a total dump. The pizza slices are large and cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you want quality pizza for just $1.50 more per slice, go down the street to Coconut grove and try Cazzolli's. They are THE original pizza joint serving huge delicious slices of pizza. Given you'll pay for $4-$5 per slice, but again, you get what you pay for!

I also had a sub sandwich that was AWEFUL. Limited number of toppings are piled on in a sloppy fashion. Deli meats are also of poor quality. Your better off going to the Quizno's across the street.

POOR PIZZA! But a lot of it!

After reading the TOP TEN LIST, my wife and I decided to check out different resturants, pizza places, etc., ourselves. We ordered a large CASOLA'S PIZZA. It was huge and a lot of food, but TASTELESS. I was shocked at how bland and NOT GOOD it was. Too bad! A lot of pizza, but not worth finishing!

• Pros: inexpensive, eat-in or take out
• Cons: bland, tasteless, canned mushrooms
