New Chinatown Restaurant

Just had a wonderful Chinese dinner at NEW CHINATOWN. Excellent waiter, (Nestor from Nicarauga), whose father has worked there for 23 years ! This is a good restaurant that I enjoyed ! Beautiful menu, wines included. And they have three big HD TV's if you want to watch an event like the Basketball All-Star game tonight. I'll be back soon !

I was searching on citysearch for a good chinese restaurant so I went on Friday night and was doing takeout and I asked for some plates and fork and the cahier gave me an attitude. I have no idea what was going on. As i was waiting, there were so many waiters standing around and there was even a waiter that was bringing food by the front. I felt that this restaurant is not high class and should train their employees better.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Bad customer service(not well trained employees)

First I Like to say Congratulations on being the choice for #1 for chinese food in miami. I have eaten at this wonderful place many times with friends and family and it has always been a pleasure. I am very pivky about my chinese food Not AMERICAN STYLE --- AUTHENTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!I love General's Chicken. The crispy fresh noodles to go along with my eggdrop soup. The delicious spring rolls. The chicken wings!!!!!!!!! I could just go on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holly527

If the divine creator has taken pains to give us delicious and exquisite things to eat, the least we can do is prepare them well and serve them with ceremony. Fernand Point (1897-1955) Please try the Pekinese Duck (one course meal)... If you like duck, oriental duck, done on site, and lots of pancakes this is the most delicious duck Ive tried so far. And believe me, Ive tried a few. I hope you can enjoy it to.

I've had the opportunity to eat Chinese food in many different states and countries and find myself more disappointed than satisfied. New Chinatown has been in Miami for many years, which I have been going to since I was a little boy. It has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant. Recently, it was aquired by new management / cooks making the food even more delicious. Starters range from awesome spare ribs to crunchy egg rolls (always fresh). Let me not forget that Wonton Soup and crispy noodles to go along with it. My favorite dishes would have to be the Chengs Chicken and Shrimp and Lobster Sauce. Its a really great spot to bring the whole family, where the atmosphere is relaxed and the servers are authentic Chinamen! I'll be eating there tonight.

Pros: Affordable, Great food , Laid back

Cons: Lights too bright, Not romantic

The best chinese food around!! Everything on the menu is delicious. I've had several items on the menu and I've never been disappointed.. The service varys from one server to the next. I would recommend take-out instead. All in all, the food is well worth it.. even if you have to take a gamble with the service. The food is not greasy or heavy, the portions are huge and the sauces are excellent. I recommend sharing with others..

Pros: Excellent food, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Some servers are bad, Parking

I have been coming to this restaurant since back in 2000. They have a large selection of excellent chinese food. Only place where you will find dishes from three of the most popular cooking styles in China. They used to have the menu grouped into these styles, but unfortunately, they changed it to a much plainer version. I have tried over 15 dishes at this restaurant and am yet to be disappointed. Sharing is recommended! Also boasts a full bar!

Pros: GREAT FOOD, GREAT VALUE, HUGE PORTIONS

Cons: NOT ENOUGH PARKING
