The Scene
Despite the vague promise of tango in the title there's not even a single red rose on the premises. Instead, a large-screen TV shows music videos and soccer games to a good-looking crowd of Spanish speakers who arrived after 9pm for honest food served in a comfortable setting. Outside diners enjoy a view of the Normandy fountain and the more raucous Argentine restaurant across the street, Las Vacas Gordas.

The Food
As the name implies, this quaint sidewalk cafe serves meat and plenty of it. From blood sausages and sweetbreads to a 20 ounce filet, there is plenty to satisfy the most ravenous carnivore. Though a huge slab of "Cowboy" steak was marbled with plenty of fat, the flavor was superb and it was big enough for two to share. In addition to the myriad meats, there are delectable seafood and chicken dishes as well as salads, tasty vegetables and pastas. The best were the simple ones, such as the linguini with pesto sauce.

Everytime I go here it just keeps getting better. The service is excelent. The 1 pound churrasco is the best I have had. I highly recommend it. And it's under $13. I just wish they would have queso poveletta when i go there. It's on the menu but they always run out.

Love Tango Beef cafe. Great steaks. Love the entrana. Great sides. Great selection of reasonable chilean and argentinian wines. Friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Great crowd. I am a gringo but love to hang out in the latin scene. If this scene is not for you, do not come to Tango Beef Cafe. Head up to Broward where you will find plenty of draft beer and chicken wings to satiate your desires.
