The antiqued walls, bright upholstery and white linen tablecloths lend a dignified warmth to the spacious and well attended dining room. The attractive ambiance is matched by well-executed entrees, which are served like miniature works of art. Main courses course options include chicken Florentine, veal scallopine with shiitake mushrooms or grilled salmon. Also available are fresh or dried pastas topped with sauces such as mushroom and prosciutto cream sauce, broccoli and fresh garlic, or shrimp in spicy marinara.

Hidden Gem

Avanti is clearly the best Italian restaurant in the greater Miami area. Every item on the menu is reliable and authentic. My family and I have been going there for years and it somehow was always "just" a local favorite. With the lack of consistency and true marvels in this town; I am happy to report that Louie and the guys at Avanti are here to serve you true Italian flavor not guised by trends and waves. Don't forget to order the garlic bread, Tarimisu, and be prepared for only wine and beer.

best italian food

Finally real food for a great price you will get hook once you come. I had a lobster ravioli that was incredible, and my friend got the veal chop . Amazing food and some of the best entrees we have ever had. Our waiter was charming and really looked like he was enjoying things, and they have one of the best wine list in Miami. I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. By far the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at!

Cafe Avanti is absolutely the best Italian food in Miami and probably all of Florida. The menu is diverse and delicious. Additionally, the friendly and warm staff make you feel like family.

Amazing food, and wonderful service!

Cafe Avanti is an incredible Italian restaurant, with wonderful service. They have amazing entrees and a fabulous wine list. They are everything you look for in fine Italian Dining!
