Ego Trip offers the overpriced under par service you'd expect from a salon just off touristy Lincoln Road. If your looking for a truly stylish salon with an absolutely brilliant staff, i highly recommend the HAIRDRAGON SALON in Miami's Design District. Believe me, it is WELL worth the trip off the beaten touristy path.

I'm upset with Shampology salon because when I made my appt for hair extensions I was told that great lengths extensions (a high quality brand) would be used in my hair. After they fell out, I talked to the owner and asked him to resolve the issue. He agreed to redo my hair...when they fell out again, I became suspicious and visited another salon for a consultation and discovered that "great lengths extensions" were not used in my hair-instead a much cheaper and poorer quality brand. I ONLY use great lengths and I have been using them for the past 4 years. Consumers have a right to be protected against FALSE ADVERTISING. Please Danny Dillon, take RESPONSIBILITY!

Shampology Salon is a sham. Danny Dillon, the owner does not take responsibilities for his salon's mistakes. One of his stylists made a serious mistake with my hair and he refuses to take responsibility or attempt to reconcile the error. When I contacted him about the issue I never received a phone call back, I had to visit the salon in order to speak with him. Consumers-BEWARE. If you're not happy with your hair, DANNY DILLON doesn't care!

Im so happy to be able to find a establishment that can catter to my needs a correct my color and let me leave a happy camper!!!! thanks you guys are great i hope your remodeling goes well

I went to this salon for years with Danny. I really liked it until the business changed owners. It had a great vibe...great employees. They were such a great "family" I think everyone has since moved. I followed my stylist Danny to Shampology Salon and Supply Inc.. If you are looking for a great place to go...call Shampology ..very very nice..plus free valet parking!!!!! I love this new place! There is a "new great family started! Shampology Salon and Supply 305.576.1530

I have been going there for years, but recently I am very disappointed. My stylist is great and I have followed him everywhere, but I just don't like the environment here anymore. Sorry guys...

Pros: Gregory is fabulous, but I wish he would leave

SINCE EGO TRIP WAS PURCHASED BY A BIRD BRAINED BRAZILIAN AND IS BEING MANAGED BY SOME GUY WHO DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A LISCENCE, IT HAS LITERALLY GONE DOWN THE TUBES. GRANTED THERE ARE 3 VERY TALENTED STYLISTS - THE BEST IN MIAMI - WORKING THERE, BUT THE MANAGER AND THE OWNER ARE COMPLETE MORONS. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, LET ANDRE CUT YOUR HAIR....EVEN BETTER...LET HIM COLOR OR HIGHLIGHT YOUR HAIR. THE OTHER GUYS WILL DEFINITELY BE THERE TO CLEAN UP HIS MESS, BUT DON'T COUNT ON HIM GETTING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. HIS CLIENTS INCLUDE HOUSEKEEPERS, BROKE AND UNEMPLOYED "MODELS" AND THE BRAZILIAN TRASH OF SOUTH BEACH. THE BOTTOM LINE IS PUT A PIG IN AN ARMANI SUIT AND YOU HAVE JUST THAT. OR GIVE A PIG A BUSINESS TO RUN AND WATCH HIM SLOP IT UP. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ANDRE AND SIMONE YOU GUYS ARE THE LAUGHING STOCK OF SOUTH BEACH. PUT THAT ON YOUR HUSBAND'S YACHT AND FLOAT IT.

Living in NY I am used to the best. When I moved to Miami finding the place to do hair was a mission impossible. I have tried so many places without any luck (even the once that had great reviews like Paulas). Well I finally found my place with Josh at Ego Trip. All the staff in the salon is extremely nice, you get the best 10 minute head massage with every wash and they really know how to treat their customers. Its a small place that makes you feel at home. And the haircut!!! I have to say this was the best razor cut I have had in ages, and they actually listen to what you have to say! All the staff is highly skilled and professional. My search for a great salon is over!!!

Pros: Customer Service, Skilled Staff, On time

This salon has wonderful hairdressers who will listen to you! This is like a first in Miami. Nobody can apreciate this like I can. After a disaster in North Miami where I live I was so afraid of trusting any one with my hair especially on South Beach with all the lousy service and attitude.My freind Diana told me to go there and since her hair looked good I went. Glad I did. It's the 1st good cut and blow that I had in 2 years in Miami. I will be comming back, for sure!

Pros: best cut, nice people, no attitude

Cons: no parking
