My first time at South Beach was a good experience because of this hotel. I had the ocean front room and the service was good. I'm glad I choose this hotel becuase of the location and ademianties(gym, yoga, breakfast, pool, restaurant) The hotel is in the middle of everything and not too busy....What made my experince bad, was the serivce from the different restaurants..It was bad......But I when I went back to my room I was cool..
- Pros: location, service,price,
- Cons: I cant think of 1
A comfortable Art Deco hotel that celebrates its history.

The Scene
Considered one of Henry Hohauser's finest architectural offerings, this renovated 1937 beachfront hotel features 127 elegant guestrooms and suites. It is the tallest Art Deco hotel on Ocean Drive, and its grand lobby once welcomed celebrities such as Clark Gable, Carole Lombard and Rita Hayworth.
The Details
Guestroom renovations in early 2004 brought feather bed mattresses, new comforters and linens and Art Deco lighting. Contemporary facilities include a fitness studio, rooftop garden and heated swimming pool. Quinn's at The Park Central offers sidewalk and terrace dining, with Caribbean and Asian inspired cuisine served nightly. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at The Casablanca Restaurant & Bar. Billiards, backgammon and chess, all popular in the 1940s, are still favorite pastimes here. The 700-square-foot Florida Room is available for small to mid-sized meetings. Complimentary coffee and tea are served daily in the lobby.
Stay at Park Central!!

Just returned from South Beach and a stay at the Park Central hotel. It was wonderful!!! We searched extensively before settling on this hotel, and we are so pleased. The location is perfect-right on Ocean Drive in the heart of everything. Everyone was friendly and helpful, down to the concierge with club passes and poolside drinks! The art deco interior captured South Beach to a T, and the rooms were simple, clean, and nice.
- Pros: location, art deco interior, courtyard area

I go to Miami twice a year and always stay at the Park Central. The location is perfect!!!They have the most fabulous front porch to relax with a drink and people watch.
