If the art deco landmarks that dominate South Beach aren't retro enough for you, the colonial decor of this coastal resort will truly take you back in time. The plantation exterior is shimmering white, with wooden shutters at every window of the three-story building. The hotel's namesake, Betsy Ross, would probably be thrown for a loop once she enters one of the 63 rooms and suites.
