Considering the lack of major bookstores in and around South Beach, Books & Books is one of the few places to head for the latest in fiction beyond the mass market paperbacks. However, if you are looking for a specialty books, you will have to head to one of the major booksellers in Coral Gables or Aventura. For a good selection of magazines, newspapers and local books, check this place out and stay for a quick latte at their coffee bar or a sandwich at their sidewalk cafe.
Knowledgable staffers and an intimate atmosphere give this indie bookstore an edge over the big book chains.

Cramped, quaint and jammed with smarty-pants staffers, this is your typical indie bookstore experience. A veritable who's who of the Miami literati gather here, and locals linger in the aisles to catch a glimpse of celebrities, often spotted at the Lincoln Road location. The shelves are stocked with the usual New York Times bestsellers, along with a renowned collection of architecture, design and arts books and local titles.
