Cheesecake Factory-esque on Lincoln Road

First let me set the stage, restaurants on Lincoln road are known for sightseeing. They are NOT known for their service or food. If you are going to eat on Lincoln, I'd recomend Nexxt. The best way to describe them is a Cheesecake factory knock-off--their menu and place looks all too familar to that popular chain. On the positives, their food is good and they are very afordable. On the negatives, their service is horrible--as does all service on lincoln (you may wonder how this could be with 20 waiters just sitting around next to the counter doing nothing, but my only guess is that they just don't care)--and the place is a bit dirty. Overall, I do recomend them....if you want to eat on Lincoln.

Best Resturant in Lincoln Rd

Im from NY home of the resturants. Honestly I really can't compare any resturant in NY to Nexxt Cafe. The Portion can feed about three people. Also the drinks are the best, Nexxt Cafe is a must if your in the Lincoln Rd area................

P.S. Please come hungry or else you will be stuck with a lottttttt of food

Due to political problem in my country I am now seeking for your assistance to help me transfer this money out from Cote d'Ivoire into your account abroad so that we should invest it in any meaningful and lucrative business in your country because this is my only hope in life,and now since am the only person left in my family, my uncle has seized all my late father's properties of which he want me to provide every other documents related to my late father's bank deposit I refused. After 15 minutes waiting for a table, plus another 20 to order and another 30 to get our meals, I came across a bad seasoned food, and cold fries...I'm never going back to that place.

Great food for the price and location

Im an out of towner and was on my first visit to Miami and just happened to find myself in Nexxt Cafe. Location is great as it is a pedestrian thoroughfare. Our sever, was really helpful and courteous. Showed much expertise with the rather varied and big selection of a menu, they have. Our server was very patient and served us well. Was prompt in giving us refills, and was really congenial. I forgot to take down his name, but all I remember is he sorts of resembles George Clooney a little bit *grin* Ill definitely be back there when I find myself in Miami Beach again. I wish they would just take out the auto gratuity on the check, sometimes, that is the best way for management to keep track of how well their servers are to their patrons. Id definitely have given more than what was due, as I was extremely happy with the service.

OMG! Miami should ashame of this place !! Guys, get real, they are slow, ruuuude, and nasty!

Especially, this restaurant host guy. Takes forever to get his attention but as soon as he get you a table you are off his hands and forget asking him a question. In about 15-20 minutes they came to offer a drink and left for another 15-20 minutes. The chairs are so deep that even I felt not comfortable eating and I am not shorty.

More! They added some wine glass charges to us. Thank God, I learned to check on my checks at those places. Embarrassment to Miami.

Go find some other places and forget this low life place.

Prev. Review Removed!! Horrible Service Rude Owner and Host

I have posted my review before and it has been removed!!

-I am local of N Miami Beach.

-requested the table that night.

-Rude Hispanic looking host came back to my wife and a friend when i left for a few minutes,

took the table away for some other party of 6 and told them to wait for another one.

-I complaint to the Israeli bold looking owner who cared less. (sure, it was a party of six and just 3 of us).

-and before seating us, the host has told us that this time they serve full finner only.

-in the end, I noticed 2 margaritas added to the check and we only drank a bottle of beer each. Mistake or?

-And sure enough, you have to wait forever to see your waiter.

• Pros: Location, large servings
• Cons: Nasty and rude Host and Owner. Make you buy full dinner in PM hours. Long wait for waiter.

Great Food, Generous Portions!

We were in town on business with a group, and did not wait long at all for seating. This place was extremely busy, but despite this we received more than adequate service. The food was by far above average! The portion sizes are more than worth the "little" extra you pay for their food. Two can easily split an entree. We found our appetites satisfied and the food to be really good. If we lived in Miami we would frequent this place. Loved it, location was great for people watching. Would have earned 5 stars from me except the bathrooms WERE dirty. Ew.

Great place to eat!

Nexxt is a great place to go if you are looking for a broad variety of good food at a reasonable price. You can get anything from Mexican to Pizza. The portions are huge!!! The location is great too because it is in Lincoln Mall. We didn't have any service problems but we sat in inside. If you don't want to wait than sit inside. The mixed drinks are great!

Great Ambaince - Great Food - TERRIBLE SERVICE

I am a local and I love this place for the location, price, and food. The location can not be any better since it is on one of the busiest parts of Lincoln Rd. Great place for people watching. The food is excellent. The portions are generous, the menu us extensive, and the taste and quality are exceptional. So why not 5 stars ??? Unfortunately this otherwise great place suffers from TERRIBLE service. The gratuity is automatically added to all checks. So the servers here have absolutely no incentive to give you any service at all. Its so bad that despite how much I enjoy the food. I dont go very often anymore. The bathrooms are also very dirty. The place in general is not very clean. If there service was as good as the food. This would be the #1 place in the whole county.

ASK FOR THE ALCHEMY CHOCOLATE MARTINI!!!!

This is a great cafe! Almost anything on the menu is great. The prices are really reasonable too. But if you love chocolate, then you must order THE ALCHEMY VODKA CHOCOLATE MARTINI. It is so smooth. And tastes just like a chocolate popsicle! It makes the chocolate cheesecake pointless to to have. It's that good. ORDER THE CHOCOLATE MARTINI! Your life will never be the same without it.
