Horrible service!!!!

Their food is good, the portions are so large, they have fabulous bruschetta, but their service is horrible --as does all service on lincoln (you may wonder how this could be with 20 waiters just sitting around next to the counter doing nothing, but my only guess is that they just don't care)--and the place is a bit dirty. Overall, I don't recomend them..

the food is yummy and the price is right. nexxt cafe is a great place to grab a bite, hang out with your friends, and people watch. the waiters are cute and provide good service. hands down the best place to eat on lincoln road.

Good Food, Bad Service

On a lazy Sunday afternoon, what could be better then having lunch with some friends and soak up the wonderful South Beach atmosphere. Nexxt Cafe seems to fit the bill, provding outdoor dining with a casual flair. The menu was varied, offering a bit of everything any one could want. While not out of this world, the food was very tasty, the portions were very generous, and the meal did not come with a South Beach price tag. My only complaint was the service which was at best substandard. Although seated immediately and given menus, our waiter was no where to be found. When he did show up he spent 5 minutes explaining that he had other things to before taking our drink order....which he got wrong any way. Add that to dirty silverware, and I almost yelled NEXT before even giving the food a shot.

Overall, Nexxt Cafe is worth trying.

Cheesecake Factory-esque on Lincoln Road

First let me set the stage, restaurants on Lincoln road are known for sightseeing. They are NOT known for their service or food. If you are going to eat on Lincoln, I'd recomend Nexxt. The best way to describe them is a Cheesecake factory knock-off--their menu and place looks all too familar to that popular chain. On the positives, their food is good and they are very afordable. On the negatives, their service is horrible--as does all service on lincoln (you may wonder how this could be with 20 waiters just sitting around next to the counter doing nothing, but my only guess is that they just don't care)--and the place is a bit dirty. Overall, I do recomend them....if you want to eat on Lincoln.

In Short
A healthy mix of low-key locals and wide-eyed tourists take in the nonstop circus that is Lincoln Road. The friendly staff can seem somewhat scattered at times--understandably, since they are constantly dodging rollerbladers as they scurry about the huge outdoor dining area.The encyclopedic menu at Nexxt Cafe assures something to please every taste. While Nexxt serves upscale entrees like NY steak and grilled mahi-mahi, the real winners are the gargantuan salads and hearty sandwiches.

Best Value In South Beach

I hate to say how good this restaurant is cause I'll never be able to get in! This restaurant has very tasty food, huge portions, and very reasonable prices. Try one of the breakfast omelets. It is easily big enough to share with another person. Best people watching spot in SoBe. Killer meat loaf, Spicy chicken strips with a mountain of mashed potatos and a piece of corn on the cob, ahi tuna appetizer, pizza, burgers, all good. This is the place for those who love leftovers. Only complaint is that the restaurant needs a bathroom attendent cause there are too many customers and the bathroom floor is always wet and messy. Clean that garbage can near the front door!

TOURIST TRAP!!!!

I stopped by last weekend after having dinner with friends from out of town. We had drinks and coffee. The waiter served us quickly. As soon as he left we realized our coffee were cold and my friends irish coffee had no whipped cream (as stated on menu) When we finally found the waiter to pay our check, 40 minutes had passed. To make things worse there was an $18.00 Cognac on the check . I'm sure the waiter thought we were dumb torist and did the classic "upsell" trick of order top shelf liquor to raise the check amount(and gratuity included) Needless to say, I'll never go back!

don't go if you're not hungry

The prices are affordable if you're talking South Beach and the food is absolutely delicious. Lunch menu offers deals for $10 that will leave you just as stuffed. Even the appetizers can be a meal. Appetizers-the plub ribs and flautas were excellent. Four cheese pasta was simple but great. I ate half and saved the other half for homeless dude.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES

I'VE VISITED MIAMI A FEW TIMES AND I JUST KEEP GOING BACK TO NEXXT. GREAT FOOD GREAT PRICES AND INSAINLY HUGE PORTIONS. WE WERE PARTY OF 5 AND DEFINITLY SPENT LESS THEN 20 EACH FOR A GREAT BIG DINNER. I LOOK FOWARD TO GOING BACK WHEN I RETURN TO MIAMI. MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS DECIDING WHAT TO ORDER.. THE MENU IS AS BIG AS A NOVEL.

Mmmm, Good!

The food was absolutely great! There were so many things to choose from and they all sound mouth-watering. I went with two other people we each ordered something different and everyone was extremely happy with their entree. We also ordered an appetizer which was fabulous. We also got dessert- all winners. The portions are so large that we had it for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning!! I don't think it would be a good choice for large groups- it's really small and a tad bit cluttered. Otherwise.... perfect.
