Not the best place for couples dining
by Barbcuz
Our hotel suggested Tuscan Steak for Valentine's Day. My salmon was good, the sides are for two and probably more like 3. We don't like the same food and were in a hotel. The sauteed mushrooms were shitake. I did not ask as I was supposedly in a steak house and was thinking more generic and am allergic to shitake. My husband's "signature" steak entree, was not even recommended by our waiter. It was expensive, described as 20 oz and came out sliced and not more than one half that size. The first was retured as it was not cooked rare. This would have been a nice option for our kids as I would not have had to cut up their meat! We skipped desert, only having shared a small casear, 2 sides and 2 entrees and would not go back. As in Manhattan, plenty of other good places to choose from in the area.
- Cons: family style, advertised as a steak house but not really

Comparable to NYC standards

Fo-get-about it. This place is great. A friend suggested to me as I frequent miami on business from NYC often and he was right on the money. I went there this past Thursday with some of my colleagues from the firm and we were all impressed with the service and the cuisine. I usually do not ever write revues on the restaurants I visit, but I felt compelled to do so this time. We have gone to all the great italian reataurants in NYC, Babos, Il Mulino,.... , and this place holds its own. The Gnocchi is superb and the T-bone was right on. When you have the GM visting your table you feel important and we thank him for professionalism. The only knock is the parking, but i understand that parking on the beach is always a diffacult thing. Valet your car, in the end its worth it.
- Pros: service, cuisine, over all friendliness
- Cons: parking
Great Experience......

I went to Tuscan Steak with my fiance and had a wonderful time. You should really listen to the waiters thought when they tell you that the portions are big. We are big eaters, so we ordered a couple appetizers, and an entree for each. We had the garlic bread, which honestly is the only thing that I was crazy about. But besides that everything was delicious. Sure the side ceaser was expensive at $15, but 4 people could have eaten from it. I ordered the T-bone, which was perfectly cooked, and taken off the bone which I loved. My fiance had the veal, wow it was spectacular. The plates do not come with sides, so we ordered the asparagus, which were also delicious. We both ate plenty of food and still had a lot to take home. I think the atmosphere is great and the service was impecible. I saw a couple of complaints about the valet, but you in South Beach, it's expected. $15 is worth it for me to not have to worry about looking for parking. Overall our bill for two was about $260. A couple drinks, appetizers, 2 entrees, and desert.. not too bad for a great restaurant.
- Pros: Great food, great deserts....
Yum!

We went in on a Sunday night, and was pretty crowded, but not the bar. Luckily we had a reservation because there were 7 of us and the front entrance is not very big. We started-off with 2 orders of the truffle oil garlic bread..very good, i ate 4 pieces! After that, we raided the menu and ordered 6 appetizers, and each person ordered their own entree and drinks. For dessert, we were all full and shared 1 piece of the pear cheesecake. Amazing. I had the filet, that is my choice, and I was ready to lick the plate except that I was wearing white and the sauce is brown :O. Our service was great, but since there are wood floors in the restaurant, the noise of everyone's voice is amplified which makes it hard to have a conversation without yelling. Most of the other reviews talk about the valet parking being overpriced.. it was $15 to have the valet drive it who knows where or I paid $20 to have it parked in front of the door, I didnt want them driving my car + i tipped him $10. When you are eating at a restaurant in that area, in that price range, the valet should be the least of your worries..paying $15 for the valet is a problem but it is no problem to spend $50+ on a steak is no problem? Enjoy your meal, remember to splurge a little extra! For 7 of us with what we ordered, if i remember right, the bill was around $900.
- Pros: Great Food, Service, and Location
- Cons: Wood Floors Amplify Voices, Making It a Little Hard to Carry-On a Conversation.
It may be more South Beach than Tuscany, but the food here is first-rate.

In Short
The stylish crowd of tourists and locals, some Ralph Lauren casual, others dressed to thrill, jam into a faux-rustic dining room with rough-hewn stone walls and burnished dark wood. The stratospheric prices aren't too bad as most of the hugely portioned dishes will easily feed two. Vegetable antipasti offers enough heft and variety to justify its high tariff. The signature Florentine T-bone is a carnivorous beauty, crusty on the outside and rosy rare within.
- Pros: friendly service
Excellent Food
by warrant9
This was definately one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food was amazing and well worth every penny. The "famous" garlic bread was good, although it was overpriced and tasted like any other garlic bread. But, beyond that all of the food was excellent. The steak is to die for and the past was equally perfect. The chocolate mouse cake was awsome! Drinks were very expensive ($8 per beer and $3.25 for a cup of coffee) but the food made up for it. The service was also second to none. Be ready to pay upwards of $150 for two people, but know that it will be worth it as well.
- Pros: food, service
Fifty four?

Being from NYC and loving steak, I'm used to paying quite a bit for a good steak. I was left wondering if the $54 filet mignon is any good. Something inside of me just won't let me spend more than $50 for 16oz. of meat. The 20oz T-Bone Florentine was excellent even though it was soaked in olive oil. I liked the way it was deboned and presented. Very nice and much more wallet friendly at $38.
- Pros: Service, Big comfy booths, Huge portions
- Cons: Price
outrageous eats
by pittisforreal
The steaks are bountiful in man's oldest traddition of red meat celebrations and excessive indulgences. The Menu is littered with extravignace and priced to reflect the pursuit of perfection with cost being a secondary effect of perfection. A truly unique way to enjoy red meat in the traddition of Miami's excess.
- Pros: delicious, trendy, warm
- Cons: expensive
