Great food!!

Don't listen to the negative reviews!! The food was amazing and only made better by the excellent and attentive service. The prices are good for Miami Beach and you get enough food to take home and eat for days. There's a great atmosphere and even a gift shop to buy Big Pink tees! This restaurant is definitely worth the trip!!

Great diner in the South of Fifth neighborhood. Good food and a fun atmosphere. It's a little crowded inside, but it's always easy to get a table.

The Big Pink is a great place to dine in South Beach. It's perfect for families, teens and the older crowd. The food was AMAZING. Literally. The price and portion were definitely right, too!

• Pros: Great food, reasonable prices, big portions, fun atmopshere (decor, music, tv), friendly service, AMERICAN STAFF!.
• Cons: Tables are pretty close.

waste of time

ugly inside and out, terrible service, tasteless, overcooked food. i had bbq chicken, it was dry, my wife had a pasta, it was overcooked, plus it's expensive for the poor quality

More like the BIG STINK!

We went here after reading reviews on City Search, because it sounded like a great place. Unfortunately, it was the opposite.

We were seated outside, and waited for over 30 minutes before a waiter asked for our drink order. To top it off, my husband had to track the waiter down. We wonder how long we would have waited if we didn't go looking for him.

Drinks came after another 20 minutes, but were brought by someone else, not our waiter. So, we weren't able to place our order. When he finally did show up to take our food order, he was rude, showed no knowledge of the menu, and seemed like he was stoned.

While waiting for our food, I fell asleep and had to be awaken by my husband. We would have normally just left, but it was 5am, and we were starving, and not in the mood to go looking for another place that was open.

When food finally came, it was HORRIBLE!

Warning: DO NOT GO TO THE BIG PINK!!

Travelers tip: Visit CJ'S CRAB SHACK on Ocean Drive. It's in the 1300 block and incredible. The service was warm, friendly and inviting. The food was out-of-this-world! Try the crab dip, crab legs and especially the hush puppies! The owners could give lessons to the people at The Big "Stink".

Great food!

Great food, fun atmosphere. Our food was so yummy, that we came back twice in one week! We actually saw Hulk Hogan and his family dining next to us. So we had a blast. Highly recommend it!

Such horrible customer service

I recently visited Big Pink for lunch and experience the worst customer service ever. We arrived and were promptly seated by the host but once seated, we waited 10 minutes and still did not have anyone come over to take our orders. We asked for a waiter and 5 minutes after we saw that the waiter was told to come our table, Dan appeared. He came and rushed and took our orders and did not even ask what we wanted to drink. We had to call out our drink orders while he was walking away. when the server came to bring our food, he briefly passed by and looked at us and then he went to serve other customers with a big smile on his face. Even when our drinks were done and we wanted a refill, he was nowhere to be found. When we were done eating, I had to get up and go look for him in order for us to get our check. He dropped the check and was about to make a run for it when we quickly handed him the payment. It was the most aggravating experience ever. My friend actually left him a tip but i just wanted to tell his manager or just start yelling at him. This guy was just awful. It was almost like he did not want to serve us. He went and served other people who came in after us before he came to us. He stopped by other tables and checked the patrons but not us and he went socializing with his friends at the bar while he should have been checking up on his customers. I had to find him towards to back of the restaurant to come and give us our tab. I have gone to Big Pink several times before and have never gotten such a poor service and i can't help but ask was it because those other times I was not with Black people as oppose to this time. I don't think i'll return to Big Pink again cause that was just awful service.

I Crave it still!!!!

Let me start with, I LOVED IT. I still think about how good the food was and how fun the atmosphere was. I enjoyed the other fancy and trendy spots in Miami Beach, but Big Pink exceeded expectations. After we discovered it, we didn't eat anywhere else for the entire week we were there. It will be the first place I'll go after getting off the plane during my next visit. I suggest everyone give it a shot. I can only say great things about the food, atmosphere, and service. I met a few friends there also. That didn't hurt. It is the place to see folks, eat great food, and make sweet memories!!!

Great food, ok service

I loved the Argentinian steak salad and the selec tion of desert. Great ambience and everything looks delicious. The only complaint I have is that our waiter, Travis, tried to touch my culo when I was watching the game on the big screen TV. Other than that I highly recommend the place.

Large menu selection, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Salad, Deserts, Homemade potato chips wow!

We keep Big Pink's delivery menu on hand at all times. Whatever you're in the mood for, they likely have it and it's likely a cut above the rest! We dine in sometimes, but it's not within walking distance for us and parking can be a bit of a challenge. There is often a wait to place a delivery order during peak dining hours. During these times they will often tell you up front that it may take 1 1/2 hours or more to deliver, but rarely does it take as long as they say. Once they forgot to include our homemade potato chips and sent a delivery person right back to remedy the problem even though we told them not to sweat it!
