My wife and i had a really good time at le bouchon du grove, when we get in, bruno (the owners) welcome us with a glass of champagne.....
We had a seat rigth away with reservation (of course)
we had the foie gras and the escargots to start.... oh my god was so tasty and delicious.....
The waiter told us about the best dish in the house wich is the chicken fricasse and wouah amazing souvenirs
The bouchon has been declared the best french restaurant in miami, and i know why.... Do you ???
- Pros: ambiance
- Cons: always full, need reservation at all the time
The worst you can find in Miami

Hi,
As a french citizen and traveler I must say that Le bouchon is a joke to any real French cuisine connaisseur ! Their menu uses fancy descriptions to sell you very mediocre french food that tastes nowhere nearly as good as they want you to think.
The decor is so cheesy and is definitely a tourist trap which caters to american stereotypes about France.
The staff which was once french is now mostly latino american and the new owner has absolutely no charisma.
I have been told it used to be faboulous but the new ownership must be driving this restaurant into the ground.
The other french restaurant across the street is much more refined and classy, serving authentic homestyle french cuisine without catering to stereotypes and without the obnoxious attitude of Le Bouchon.
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: Overpriced, obnoxious owner, carppy food
A Francophile retreat

This wonderful little bistro is equally great for a lovely sea bass dinner as it is for Sunday brunch. The posters, placards, and national team jerseys keep the place feeling quite authentic, and the warm and outgoing French waitstaff along with the lively French chef ensure that the experience is authentically superb. I highly recommend the roasted lamb with Provence herbs which is wonderfully tender and savory, but feel free to try something new. Just about anything on the menu is delectable.
- Pros: Ambience, Service, Food
- Cons: Parking
Bohemian culture and classic French cuisine.

In Short
Once a playground for bohemian hippie types, Coconut Grove was seized by capitalists who Disneyfied the quaint village in a big way. People nostalgic for the past haven't written the Grove off entirely, seeking solace in the comforts of Le Bouchon du Grove, an authentic French bistro with doors that open to the outside, providing a perfect view of pedestrian traffic yet keeping diners at a safe enough distance away from the madness.
Wow.. Magnificent!!!

Where do I begin? From the moment we walked into Le bouchon we were treated like regulars. The owner himself brought us 2 glasses of champagne. I requested a special table and after 5 minutes we were seated. The french onion soup was incredible, I had the lamb and my boyfriend had the chicken fricasse. Wow...The mushroom risotto is the BEST I have ever had! Our first visit there was fri 6/9/06 we went back the very next day! The Escargot is delicious. The staff is so friendly. Bruno is great as well as the Chef... I can't wait to go back!!!!
- Pros: Ambience, service, food.. the best
- Cons: None whats so ever
Charming little french bistro in Coconut Grove
by stillagirldotcom
Imagine being served by gorgeous french waiters, real home style french cuisine. I love their sauted mussels, their cajun omelette and their freshly made tarts. A wonderful place for a relaxing lunch or romantic dinner.
- Pros: charming staff, wonderful food, good people watching
- Cons: not always prompt
Pretty good
by sflicki
The appearance of the place was surprising because we were expecting an elegant restaurant rather than a bistro. However, the food was very good and the service as was the service. Recommend the entrecotte, the goat cheese salad, and the sea bass. The Creme Brulee and coffee were nothing to write home about. Overall, we had fun and ate well.
- Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance
- Cons: Cost, Dessert, Coffeee
Fantastic

I only write about the places i truly love, and Le Bouchon is one of them! George Erick, the owner is amazing and makes the ambience so warming. The food is great, I love the cesear salad, but the mussels are to die for. If you like a place where you feel at home and where you will always be welcomed, this is for you.. and the wine list is actually quite wonderful
- Pros: incredible staff, great food, awesome location
- Cons: always busy
Sunday brunch

Wonderful ambiance for a relaxed Sunday brunch. Friendly service, we had party of 11 and in a few minutes tables were moved around to accomodate us. Enjoyed the Mimosa and the blueberry pancakes. Definetely would dine there again.
Frenchman's reviewal

I live in France and I have been in this restaurant during our vacation in Miami. To be honest, some waiters and the managers come from France. They have pretty good experience and recommendations. Proposed food get inspiration from France. Ambient is Small French town like BUT the list is very basic. Too few proposals and what they do propose is very expensive regarding the same value in France.
This is a very good place to discover an exotic place for dinner but do not go there for tasting wine, they are NOT delicious.
Last tip: I did not accept that the manager calls the customers like dogs... he whistles for!!!!
- Cons: bad wine
