Best Ribs in Miami, Amazing Wings too
by Connoisseur305
I love the ribs at Flanigans. Much better than Shorty's and Tony Roma's.
It is a loud place usually, but they have a digital jukebox so you can play your favorite tunes while you eat.
The smoked fish dip appetizer is very tasty, and the wings at Flanigans are incredible.
Big wings, juicy, and tasty.
Ribs here are delicious, and if you are in the mood for some great pork ribs, you must try Flanigans. Good beer selection as well.
During the week there is a meal deal that offers an entree with a salad, drink (can be alcoholic), and garlic rolls all included.
- Pros: Enough screens to catch your game, Great Ribs.
- Cons: Parking is tricky
A little overrated
by LoboCaldero
I find that Flanigan's is a little overrated all across Miami. People are so crazy for it, but with the exception of their award-winning ribs, the food is average. This is a good place if what you're looking for is somewhere to hang out and drink with a couple of friends - no harm in that. However, be aware that the parking lot at this particular Flanigan's (The Laughing Loggerhead) is horrendous. It is a tight, one-way strip going around the building and I think that after all the employees have parked, there must only be 5 spots left for customers lol.
- Pros: Good food, good drinks
- Cons: HORRIBLE parking lot
This ultracasual restaurant and sports bar provides its laid-back crowd with a friendly place for drinks and eats.

In Short
The decor is Key West grunge, with lots of fishing nets and stuffed fish. The clientele ranges from the very young to the very old, and it's a favorite late-night hangout for hard-drinking UM students and Grove revelers. Fancy hotel drinks are for the foolhardy. It's better to share a pitcher of beer to wash down succulent barbecue ribs. Or burn the palate on a zingy bloody mary, which complements the seafood menu.
Surprisingly Good

I was a little worried about this place since it's a little set apart from most of the restaurants in the Grove and is attached to a liquor store, but it was actually good. Service and food were good. Prices reasonable. Nice atmosphere. Great place to hang out with a few friends.
- Pros: Good food, good atmosphere, good prices
- Cons: Parking was a little tough - cramped lot or meters on the street

- Pros: ribs, fries, conch fritters
- Cons: parking
Forget the beach!!
by bbsurfer
By far the best place in Coconut Grove, nonetheless Miami , to have a beer with your friends and also enjoy fresh seafood. This is also the best place to drink beers from all over the world. They have about 180 quality brews. The service is also the best in town. C-ya there!!
- Pros: Beer selection, Food, service
- Cons: , parking, parking
Loggerhead rocks

Laid back, casual atmosphere. Good for games and just hanging out and having some drinks. Food is good and so are the prices. Just need to add more parking.
- Pros: big bar, reasonably priced
- Cons: not enough parking, gets very crowded
