My son's pediatrician referred us to Dr. Mark Dorfman at Eye Surgery Associates because of a slightly off-center eye about a year ago. It turns out that the eye will self-correct, but I am so glad we got to meet Dr. Dorfman and his excellent office staff. There is one waiting room for adults (with a small but nice selection of prescription glasses) and a separate one for kids. There is always a movie playing and a nice Lego table to play with. My son was very apprehensive especially after they put the eye drops in his eyes to dilate them (not something I want to go thru again soon since it took three of us to hold the poor little guy down) but everyone was very friendly and patient. Dr. Dorfman himself has an EXCELLENT bedside manner and is quick and thorough (he has a couple of boys of his own and that first-hand experience with kids is key). I just wish he had and office in Dade county!
