Savor delicious, thin-crusted pizzas that are as stylishly Italian as the sleek, contemporary decor.

In Short
This is not your typical pizzeria and it doesn't attract your typical pizzeria crowd. Hungry patrons jam Piola's chic, bi-level dining room. Piola does pizza the Italian way, so crusts are cracker-thin and wood-fired and toppings applied judiciously. More than three dozen pies are offered; like quattro formaggio and a "designer" pizza with smoked salmon and caviar. Beyond pizza the menu includes: hearty white bean and tuna salad, carpaccio, and gnocchi.

This is not an ordinary pizza place, its a specialty brazilian italian restaurant. The food is GREAT. I recommend the Sao Paolo pizza with authentic capitury cheese which is imported from Brazil. This cheese is great (very much like the italian mascarpone cheese) I have been there plenty of times and never once had a bad experience. All the pizzas are great and dont forget a good drink... I recommend the caprioska with strawberries... its a strong drink but well worth the buzz... trust me :)
- Pros: good drinks, good pizza, nice atmosphere

From the bar to the wait staff... I love Piola! Viva Italia e viva Piola!
My boyfriend and I love to go there on Thursday nights and have pizza & beer-- an old Italian favorite!!
Our favorites would have to be Alexander and his lovely wife who both work there and are as crazy & cool as can be!!!!
Ciao bello!

Finally tried Piola. Went on a Tuesday night. Seated immediately. Service was good, entire staff friendly. Food arrived promptly and was some of the best pizza I've had. Only drawback was the volume of the background music. Although not overly crowded when I went, the music was loud to the point where I was almost having to yell to talk to my dining partner.
- Pros: Good value, Great food, Good service
- Cons: Loud background music

very tasty pizza and friendly service. The only drawback is the proximity of smoking areas to the non-smoking small section.
Probably best pizza in Miami

Stick to the excellent thin crust pizzas as the salads and pasta are just average. A good place to have a couple of drinks before the night starts.
service was horrible

service was horrible, it doesn't take 45 minutes to cook a pizza. seating is like a high school cafeteria. it wasn't enough that we were thoroughly annoyed by the service, but then we get the bill with an "automatic" 15% gratuity, of which they charged to our credit card even after being instructed not to.
Yum! Yum!

I have heard great things about this place and finally got around to experiencing it. The food was excellent! I have never had a meal quite as good and as authentic as what I ate tonight. I shared a pizza and a plate of pasta with a friend and I couldn't decide what to eat first, they were both delicious. The staff was quick and friendly and the music made you want to dance. I will definitely be going back time and time again.
- Pros: Clean, Prompt service, Nice decor
- Cons: Noisy

The only place in Miami Beach that makes pizza the real Italian way-the way it is eaten in Italy! And the service is excellent on top of the great pizza...you can't beat that!

Too bad location keeps it off Lincoln but nevertheless this place is great. Some of the friendliest wait staff on the beach.
