You get what you pay for

We went out of town on short notice and were looking for something super affordable in South Beach. This hotel has pet friendly rooms so that was a plus. There are green areas behind the hotel for walking your dog.

The room we were in had air conditioning that was controlled on a master system and could not be controlled in the room. We made many request to the front desk but the room was uncomfortable for most of the trip. There are few restaurants nearby that are open late and the front desk couldn't tell us of anyone who delivered.

Parking here is super expensive. There is construction on the neighboring hotel and you may hearing cat calls in various languages while visiting the pool area.

There are many nicer hotels but the price was right. Still, I expect adequate climate control in any hotel.

Better than lots, but beware

READ ME! Rooms are nice. On beach with pool / hottub. The problem is they slam you with fees to make up for being cheaper hotel. $30 parking PER NIGHT! We parked on street. Pkg Tikts are $18 here, but we NEVER got a ticket and parked on the street daily! They also have a "resort fee" which is 10 bucks per person per day! SCUMMY. This hotel can't be beat for value if you don't park and get good rate. Take cabs or 25 cent bus up and down Collins and it will be cheaper than renting a car, tipping and parking. No restaurant in the hotel and bartender is never to be found, but if you can pay less than 150 for this spot and don't have a car then grab it. Oh, also, there is construction next door - so make sure to avoid that!

do not stay here - we were overbooked and they left us with no where to go for hours. a terrible experience
