MIAMI STYLE CLUB

IVE BEEN TO SPACE MANY TIMES AND ITS YOUR USUAL BIG PARTY SPOT. RUDE COPS, DUMB AS BOUNCERS, AND A MISSION TO GET A DRINK. THIS IS WHAT U HAVE TO DEAL WITH WHEN UR WITH A MASSIVE CROWD. BUT WHO CARES. GET UR DRINK ON OUTSIDE THE CLUB BEFORE YOU GET IN OR AT BAYSIDE OR ANY OTHER BAR SO U WONT REGRET THE $150 TAB U SPENT ON DRINKS THE NEXT DAY. EITHER WAY UR GONNA HAVE A CRAZY TIME AND A STORY TO TALK ABOUT THE NEXT MORNING THAT U CAN LAUGH AT WITH UR FRIENDS. IVE BEEN PARTYING IN MIAMI FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS. CLUBS COME AND GO BUT THIS PLACE HAS ALWAYS DELIVERED. PEACE!

I was in Miami for a quick get away from California. After a jaunt to the beach and Friday the 13th at the Mansion, I headed out to Space for some real dancing. I purchased a ticket online and didn't have to wait when I got there. The doormen and ticket guys were great and let me in right a way. Once inside, the friendly bartender made a strong drink, that I had to ask him to tone it down a bit on the second, and last drink. After the SouthBeach Club, I found myself a little too dressed up for this place; as anything goes. The people I met were nice, unpretentious, and loved to dance. While beautiful people were more frequent in SouthBeach, you could certainly meet them here too. I danced the night away with a Brazilian cutie in the Techno Room. Headed upstairs for hiphop/reggaton and met two great guys; one Puerto Rican from Miami and the other Nicaraguan. By 4 AM, I stopped to enjoy a break dancing competition on the roof top and catch a ride home. Hands down, I would return to Miami just to go to this Space.
Cons: I went downstairs around 1:00PM and they held people at the door to return upstairs for about 1/2 hr. $30 min on credit card but that seems to be the norm around here if not higher.
- Pros: Huge. Dancing is king! Great music. 3 dance floors. Great location. Unpretentious.
- Cons: Hold up at the door from the techno to hiphop room. Credit card minimum at bar.

I have been to Space countless times and the reason I go back is : Great music, amazing afterhours! I love the music and crowd after 5 AM on the terrace, Dance and party passed sunrise into early afternoon! It is one of a kind, that's for sure! Everyone can get in free before 1 am, after that it's usuaully $20. Now for the Cons: Their security staff is rude, cocky and abusive. They will beat you up and kick you out if their heart desires it. If they are throwing someone out , they will push anyone (yes, even ladies) to the floor if you are in their way. And it's also funny how it takes like 10 of them to kick one person out. The good thing is that they usually get rid of guys that are too drunk and causing problems. Drinks are average price for Miami. I also love the fact they don't have a very strict dress code. Guys, need to wear jeans and no hats. I don't recommend this club for hip hop because it's a little raunchy for my taste. The guys are mostly young, immature and disrespectful. The girls are... well... suited for the guys. The Electronic room is always fun, but can get a bit crowded during special events. Even with those flaws Space is a unique club that has it's doors open for anyone over 21, the line moves quick and they treat everyone the same. Oh yea, and the bathroom hardly ever has a line, which is a plus! Don't expect to be treated any good, because they really don't care who you are. Over all it's the best party in Miami! And that's why at the end of the day the service just doesnt really matter. Stay out of their way and have fun =) I guarantee you will love it!

space is awesome, off the chain, shady staff, though im friends with some, but overall, music is great, huge place, best and only afterhours, SATURDAYS BELONG TO SPACE

In Short
If you're in the mood for a super-sized disco, this is the place to be. After a brief closure, Space now has more than 30,000 square feet of dance space, where you can spin around a la Stevie Nicks (albeit to a techno beat) if you wish. SoBe's club kids are more than happy to call this spacious realm home. Saturdays cater to a more homogenous gay crowd, while Fridays are a free-for-all.

They checked my ID @ the door. after, I got carded, about 6 bouncers & the Manager had to look at my California license. They said it was fake bc they hadnt seen one before- How rare is a CA ID? The Manager had the audacity to ask for a passport: I explained that you DO NOT need one to fly from CA to FL. The 4 cops outside wouldnt help to prove it was real. I showed my insurance, corporate AMEX, United Health & checkcard. How do they check the validity? Finally the Manager went to another cop who took one look and said my ID was fine. I was then let me back in after being out alone on the street for over ? hour. He said have a good time. I am NEVER going back to SPACE again. Not worth it, many better places in SoBe.

Best Club Ever!!!

I've been to clubs all around the world from Italy to New York and there is no club better than Space. There are 3 different rooms which play different types of music from Trance to Rap and Hip Hop. The drinks are great and the service is excellent. After 5 am the outdoor patio is the place to be and stays open till 2 in the afternoon. If you want a guaranteed good time then definately go to Space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great In Every Aspect

Space is great atmosphere if you enjoy being around people who are focused on having fun and unwinding from the daily grind. They have great DJs that are known all over, not to mention all the great special event DJs like Paul Van Dyk and Tiesto. This is the place to be, specially for the Winter Music Conference.
