only complaint: had to leave to soon. My daughter and a few of her fellow students from VA Tech recently went to Miami to watch the Hokies play Stanford in the Orange Bowl. They found a hotel with a sales manager who was impressed with the courtesy and maturity of the student calling to make the reservation, but was smart enough to minimize his exposure by simply asking for a little more information. Rather than declining the reservation request, knowing that the room would most definitely rent during the Orange Bowl weekend, Vincent Pla asked for an adult reference to enable him to help the kids out. After a few minutes conversation and my personal endorsement of the kids, their character and their commitment to behave like mature adults, Vincent granted the room reservation. The kids had a wonderful stay (despite the loss to Stanford) and were very pleased with the room, the hotel, the location and access to the train for transportation to and from the Orange Bowl. Their only complaint was that they had to leave so soon! Thanks to Vincent for his willingness to go with his instincts and trust some good kids to act responsibly. In the end, everyone was a winner!
Thank you!. The hotel is very clean, our room was spotless. Also, we meet the director of housekeeping who was very kind and went out of way to help us around thank you Joshua
Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
Miramar hotel is convenient quarters for horseracing fans.. Horseracing fans gallop to this Miami Gardens resort that overlooks the Calder Race Course. The "trackside" rooms offer elevated balcony views of the thoroughbred action, especially the higher guests go at the nine-story hotel. The 104 rooms are modestly furnished by corporate standards, equipped with mini fridges, irons and microwaves. Outdoor diversions include a basketball court and a miniature golf course beyond the traditional pool. Guests settling for city-facing rooms can still head up to the ninth floor. For eats, diners snag tables at Legends Sports Grill for panoramic views of the race track.
