Top Notch. I went into Nobu with five friends with high expectations. Needless to say I was completely blown away by both the food and service. We all chose to do a tasting version that the server created for us to fit our likes and dislikes. Every bite was amazing and the meal just got better and better as the night progressed. The black cod turned out to be a personal favorite. And yes, the sushi was amazing as well. Plus, the price is very very reasonable. We spent $200 each which included drinks, bottled h2o, a bottle of wine, and a seven course meal!!!

Someone Help. I have also eaten at Nobu many times in many cities including this one at least 5 times. Nobu Miami always has attitude - you expect it, but this last time, well let's put it this way, they had give us most of our meal for free. Dinner for 4 people (once seated) took 2 1/2 hours our waiter nevew came by our meals were cooked wrong and when I complained the manager had the nerve to say 'well it was human error, we can't do anything'. Needless to say that did not go over well. That whole staff needs to be fired.

WORST SERVICE EVER. The prices weren't offensive but the SERVICE was! After waiting 2 hours (they don't take reservations) we order and our waiter tells us we ordered to much food!! He was wrong! My friend waited an hour after we received our rolls to receive her entree. First they brought it to the WRONG table, the people sifted through with chop sticks and then THE WAITER TRIED TO GIVE IT TO US! We refused (obviously!) and then waited another 1/2 hour. Medium-rare steak should NOT take that long! We also never received an appetizer we ordered. When we complained to the manager about the atrocious service, manager was RUDE. They finally removed the entree. I would have rather paid money for a good meal, then pay a less for a HORRIBLE experience. The thing that saves this place is that it is near the Skybar, which is FABULOUS.

Great Place. First time to eat at Nobu's and I will be back!

The dinner was wonderful and the waiters/ress were not pushy, they were very helpful in recommending sake and such! We went on a Thursday night and waited about 20 mins. Not bad at all for south beach or any where else!

Loved it!

The Worst experience Ever!. I had the worst experience at Nobu miami. First of all, they didn't give us an option to choose what kind of water we'd like..(paid $24 for three bottles of fiji +bean that they brought out---thought it was free..but i was wrong..another $6). Also waiter was keep telling me what i ordered didn't go with other dish..who cares? i want that DISH!!....Plus it took us three hours to finish eating cause service was so slow..Sushi wasn't fresh at all and bill was over $350 for four of us....one of the worst experience ever!

over priced establishment. It was Thursday night. 3 of us had to wait almost 2 hours to get seat. which it was fine..enjoyed atmosphere and all the fab people I had to look. The service was unforgettful that I wish I could remember the waiter's name. BUT the price for sushi is just way to outstanding. Nowadays, you are paying for quality, value, atmosphere and reputation but valueing amount of food isn't a bad idea...

value. The food was good No doubt about it, but when you know how much you have paid for such small portions you tend to pick and judge the taste and culinary value of the dish.

There were definitely a few more items that I knew tasted obscure and off-balance compared to it's New York location. I guess Nobu regrettably has to localize their staff as well.

I don't like the fact that you have to eat in a hotel with uncomfortable seats and tables.

I guess that's what I don't like about eating at 'Fab' places, you end up paying to judge dishes / atmosphere / comfort / service, and forget to really enjoy the conversation you could have had with you friends.

A Sobe must see!. Nobu is just as wonderful here as it is in NYC. It is housed in the trendy and fun Shore Club Hotel. The rock shrimp and sashimi salad are the best appetisers. The soft shell crab, spicy tuna, shrimp tempora and eel rolls are excellent! This place has it all, a great bar for drinks prior and the Sky bar is right outside which is phenominal and fun. Lay in the hammok and enjoy the views!

Is this a real NOBU?. I have eaten many times at Nobu in NY and even at Nobu in London and at Matsuhisa in Los Angeles. I was extremely disappointed at Nobu in Miami! The sushi was not fresh, there was very little shrimp in my shrimp tempura - only breadcrumbs and the deserts were dried up. As for the service - what a disaster - I did not see my waiter from the time he took the order to the time he presented my check - which included two extra bottles of sake which we never received. An extremely disappointing experience!
