Spectacular Views.
The Largo Bar & Grill is located within the Bayside Marketplace in the heart of downtown Miami. One thing that cannot be denied is the view is spectacular and with plenty of outdoor seating it is a great location to come chill, have a few drinks or a meal overlooking the water! There are also plenty of TVs to enjoy watching a Heat game if you are unable to get tickets or simply cause you want a nice place to hang and watch the game.
As far as the food goes, it's not so hot. Considering Largo is suppose to be a more upscale restaurant, it was surprising that the crab cakes were mostly composed of bread crumbs and as a result tasted like mush (your could not taste any crab), and that the Filet Mignon was overcooked and tasteless. On a positive note the Mediterranean Snapper, which is served on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with Mediterranean vegetables was actually good. It was a very generous portion and if I ever came back, I could order that again. The drinks (I had a mojito) were typical.
Largo Bar & Grill is a little expensive, but it is located inside Bayside, which is geared towards tourist so despite that, the prices are on par. If a great ambiance is your main focus then it is great place to sit by the water to enjoy the view. If the view alone is motivation enough to come and check this place out, go for a seafood or fish dish or just stick to the drinks.
