Stay Away ! Scam Artists!. This company sent an employee by the name of Lazaro Diaz to quote the job. Once we accepted his bid, he had promised a minimum of 3 men that would work continuously until the job would end. The reality was that he sent only 1 man and therefore this job took a lot longer than promised. This was the least of our problems actually. When he completed 95% of the work he threw us a surprise bill of $5000 and stated how he needed to charge for extra work. Some of the things he was charging for had already been billed on the original proposal and when pointed it out he did nothing. He did not come to us during the job and state that he had miscalculated and needed more money. He just hit us with it at the end. We paid him a portion of it so as not to have any problems however that was not enough for him. He placed a lien on the property. This man is a con- artist. I recommend you stay away from AG Star Construction and Lazaro Diaz.
