Had a marvelous experience!. I found Caruna Spa in a magazine, never heard of this spa before. It's a small impeccable gorgeous place. The staff is so warm and friendly. The owner, Cardina I think is her name, did my eyelash extensions and I have to say she's really good! Very knowledgeable. I admit I haven't had my eyelash extensions done this well for the almost 2 years I've been wearing them. The place is very quiet, great music, it was a very relaxing experience for me. Would highly recommend Caruna Spa, I am very pleased!
RUDE! UNPROFESSINAL!. I would NOT recommend Caruna Spa to anyone! I also got a groupon for 6 sessions of Laser Hair Removal. When the groupon was available to buy I wanted to buy 2 body areas - 2 groupons used for myself which Groupon allowed. I had a question on the second groupon so I called the spa-no one answered and I left a message. No one called back. I wanted to still buy 2 groupons but they were sold out before they expired. Patricia agreed to accommodate me with the second groupon when I expained her all this. She sold to me for 2 more body areas for the price of groupon and agreed to do them in the same visit. When I called her to confirm my second session appointment 2 days prior, no one return my message for 2 days. I started worrying and called Groupon, they said they can not get a hold of merchant either and there are other people can not reach her, this has been an ongoing issue and even offered to refund the money. I said let me try to reach them again, if not, I'll accept getting my money back. In the late afternoon the day before my scheduled appointment day Patricia finally called and was very rude. On my question why no one confirmed my appointment she said she was very busy but she's still in business. She said she'll only fullfill the groupon and refused continue doing the second and third area though I paid her for it, she said i have to do it at a regular price, and the price I paid will only cover that first time she did. she siad she's the owner and can do whatever she wants and can change her mind whenever she wants and hung up one me. I was shocked. It was totally UNPROFESSIONAL from her side changing her mind all of a sudden with no reason. She also let me know that if I schedule appointment I'd better keep it b/c she won't be accomodating with rescheduling. I didn't know what to do. Karolina, part owner of Caruna spa got involved. She made me feel even worst, she said b/c I don't have anithing in writing showing my agreement for 2 more areas small and medium for $249 for 6 sessions, she won't continue doing and refused giving money back insteda offrede to come for second time and so the $250 would cover 2 times only instead of 6. The groupon deal that i paid to groupon they will be doing but not what I agreed with Patricia. I didn't know what to do. I could of bought this deal before with wanother spa in my area. It was totally wrong, if I had asked Patricia for smths in writing I would question my trust to her. this is spa, it's not a major contract deal that I had to ask it in writing. There is trust and honesty and apparently these 2 owners of Caruna Spa don't have it. They're bothe difficult and unprofessional. I also guestion the the way the do laser hair removal she's doing it too fast, and that can affect the hair to regrow again. At this point nothing I can do: I'm kind of have to come back to them to finish the groupon deal, or not to come back there again and gift them $149 that i paid.? I wouldn't recommend this spa to anyone. You also will not be able to reschedule your appointment. So if you're scheduling 6-8 weeks from your last session you'd better have to stick to it b/c she will not accomodate you with rescheduling.
