AWFUL TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS!. While I was asking what plumbing parts I would need (intending to buy the parts from them), a manager told the employee to stop helping me and bluntly quipped "we don't give free advice. We don't have time for that," even though the store had no other customers and at least four employees behind the counter. Although I told him I intended to get the parts from them, he rudely told me to go to Ace Hardware across the street. I told them I'd never return but they didn't care. It seems they don't want the public in their store, just contractors, and only as long as they don't ask any questions! Their rude demeanour is inexcusable. I could not recommend this place to ANYONE under ANY circumstances! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Do Not Spend A Penny Here!. The absolute worst customer service experience ever! I walked in with a sheet of paper and a detailed list of what I needed. The person behind the counter was demeaning and rude, SO rude one of the other customers jumped in to help me because they felt bad.

I asked another employee where the manager was. He said; "Not here." When I asked when he would be around, the employee ignored me. I asked if he could at least acknowledge my question..."please don't ignore me. I just want to know what the manager's name is."

Nothing. The man acted like I didn't exist.

Then another man comes over and says he is the manager. "What's YOUR problem," he rudely asks? My problem is that your employees are being rude to me and..." The manager walks away in mid sentence. Completely ignores me too. "GOODBYE," he says.

I was completely shocked. They treated me horribly. I think they're all a bunch of women haters with miserable lives for certain. I've never been spoken down to in such a manner. I will never go back and besides, the staff at Ace on 41st Street and the other one near Epicure just a block away are a an absolute delight. I can't wait until these guys go out of business! Good riddance!
