Never again!. I was so dissappointed with my visit. It was very impersonal, uncomfortable and the massage therapist did not have a clue what she was doing. Never again!
Terrible Experience! Avoid if possible..
I was visiting from out of state and am a member of Massage Envy which provides monthly, average to below-average quality massages for a monthly fee and a 12 month commitment.
This location was terrible! I arrived early, my appointment was at 4 PM and the "one hour" massage didn't start until about 4:20, it ended at 5:03. The therapist didn't even cover my entire body and didn't ask what kind of massage I wanted. The massage table was heated to an uncomfortable level and it took awhile for it to cool down. The therapist was sweet, but kept saying "relax", which was a little weird and the massage was of a fair to poor quality - very amateurish.
The icing on the cake was that when I was done, the portly, dark haired woman at the front desk says "that will be $49.95". I had a confused expression and she said "oh, is this your pre-paid massage?" I nodded and she called my hometown location to confirm and said the computers were down. A little scammy. BUT THEN the same woman has the nerve to tell me to look at a chart to determine how much tip I should leave. I said I knew how much I would be leaving and didn't need a chart. She made a sour face, asked me if I would leave the tip via cash or credit card, when I said cash and asked for a $20, she gave me a 10, a 5 and 5 ones. She prepared an envelope and when I put out my hand to request it, she said "we don't give customers the envelopes here." So I gave her the tip (the $5 bill and 5 ones) and left. She counted the money in front of me and almost rolled her eyes. A $10.00 tip for that service was a gift. I now wish I had left nothing. Terrible massage, insulting treatment and a complete lack of professionalism all around. I will cancel my membership on the 11th month and suggest avoiding this location at all costs!…
