Uneducated staff is sadly misinformed. I am afraid to say that I must give this place a bad review. I purchased a spa package on Groupon for their services. When I first called to schedule my appointment I was unable to book all my services for the same day. Regardless I went ahead and booked a massage and mani/pedi. Upon arriving for my appointment I was asked if I am pregnant. I said yes as I was 15.5 weeks along. At this point they got worried looks on their faces and stated that they don't massage pregnant women until they are 7 months along and even when they do, it must be very light touch and no massaging of feet.

I was completely shocked as this is my third child and I have always gotten massaged while pregnant pretty much up until my 8th month. I have NEVER been denied a massage due to pregnancy. The "massage therapist" then stated that she had been taught by her massage teacher that a massage before 7 months can cause miscarriages. WOW, I can not believe that a legitimate massage school would teach such baloney!

I for one studied massage therapy myself at the National Institute for Massage Therapy in Miami and have never heard of anything like that. In fact, many spas cater to pregnant women and have spa packages that include massages to cater to the mom to be. This woman seemed to think that massage can hurt a pregnancy which is completely false.

Worst yet they would not offer another service at that time instead of the massage as they were "booked". I promptly called Groupon and got an immediate refund. My next call was to my usual massage therapist to schedule a massage for the same day. I should have known better to book a package from an unknown spa. Their staff is obviously uneducated and frankly quite rude. I will never deal with them again and will stick to my usual spas: Imago's Day Spa and the Biltmore Spa.

Neither one of these has any issues with massaging a pregnant woman. Nor do many, many spas in Miami. (Feel free to contact me for a long list of certified massage therapists that are more than happy to massage a pregnant woman).

As for the massage therapist, I feel badly for her as she obviously is poorly educated in her field. Quite frankly, I'm not sure how she passed her written licensing exam as she could barely speak English and was very quick to ask me if I spoke Spanish instead, which thankfully I do.

So, if you are less than 7 months pregnant avoid this spa as it is a waste of time trying to get a massage there. Frankly I would stay away all together as their staff shows a clear lack of education. About four staff members all said they wouldn't massage a woman less than 7 months pregnant due to risk of miscarriage. One of them even had the nerve to say it was a State of Florida regulation! Yeah, right.

If you are looking for lack of knowledge it can certainly be found at this spa. Tranquility? Not so much.

El mejor Spa que he visitado!!!. Que me gusta de tranquility at Doral? me encantan sus servicios, Amabilidad. y la buena atencion al cliente Los masajes son super cheveres, las manicuristas me encantan pues trabajan profesionalmente, y en general todos los servicios que ofrecen son fantasticos. Se los recomiendo totalmente!!!

Couples massages are great!. My wife convinced me that I needed a massage. Though I was very reluctant to go, I gave it a shot because it was our anniversary. I was surprised! It was so relaxing and my back felt so much better after I was done. I think we should make this a habit!

Relaxed!. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I felt I was in another world for 3 hours. The Facialist left my skin feeling so smooth and the swedish massage was amazing. I recommend this spa to anyone looking to relax for a few hours. I visited the spa with a girlfriend last week, The spa services were very good and the atmosphere was relaxing. The staff members were warm and helpful. We will definately visit again in the near future.

Different from the usual spa. I was expecting to be given the same quick facial at Tranquility but I was treated like queen. They provide a consultation which identified all my problems (I have acne breakouts) and they took the time to do a deep extraction. We went beyond the usual hour but i was so happy that i stayed longer and didnt rush off. they have high levels of expertise there.

I will definitely go back again. I went there for a deep tissue massage and a facial and they could do it all in one day. I was a walk-in customer coz I didn't intend to do anything that day but chnged my mind. Thye squeezed me in altho they were busy and I loved their massages and facials. Next time I iwll deifniltey go back again.

nice people. Tranquility At Doral hires very nice staff. They really take the effort to make this experience special for you, especially when they found out it was my birthday! It is a clean spa and very professional. GOOD WORK!

great nail techs. I've had a manicure there for the last three months and have tried all their nail techs. I don’t bother requesting for a specific one now because I know they are all good. Manicures and pedicures are one of their top services their and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good deal. Their colors are also very new and not dried out, good variety of colors to choose from.

Tranquility At Doral - GREAT!. I love this spa. Owner Andy is really nice and greeted me when I walked in. All their staff is really kind and polite too. The services are great but I think that they should get more staff since they are always busy.
