Not your typical store.
I have been a customer of Liapela for the past three years and I felt compelled to leave a review. This is the first time I have ever left any review for anything but I think I needed to do this.
Whomever owns this franchise, kudos to you! You have such great products and the service is just outstanding. I have sent so many friends to your stores and they seem to have the same opinions.
I happened to be at Merrick Park last night so I stopped by just to see what is new. I can't believe how many new products I saw. This is such a cool store. Whoever is selecting your products is doing a great job and I love the fact that the employees are bi-lingual.
If there is one negative, the store was just too crowded. The store is a little small, I'd say about 1,000 sf. I guess being crowded is good for the owners but as a customer it's a bit crazy for me. Thank God, one of the employees told me that they're moving into a 6,500 sf space within the mall soon and that they're opening two more locations next year.
So happy for your success. I highly recommend this to any expectant parent or a grand parent like me.

LIAPELA MODERN BABY.
WOW a new store... nice selection and all that! But guess what?? I should have jus tlet this go, but I feel obligated for people out there to avoid my unsatisfying experience.
I ordered a baby stroller online, called to confirm availability, which is I normally do. they said its available..put the order in and just have to wait an actual waiting time of 7 business days, very good!
waiting... waiting...
14th day of waiting... no update, no tracking, nothing.. hmmm... let me just go ahead and give them a call... on the phone... "ohh, i'm sorry sir, this particular item was "out-of-stock" -- but we have it available now and can ship it as early as tomorrow" ... umph! Me: "really??
now, tell me... should this store even deserve a single star?? GOOD LUCK TO YOU OUT THERE...
