Drink your worries away!. This is the cutest Tea House in town! It's run by a great!!! young couple, trying to make their dreams come true. We should have more people like them !!! They are trying to make a name for themselves while making the day for strangers a bit happier. They will cater to what you want. Trust me if they have it they will make it for you!!! They are here to please you. Give this lovely couple a chance... You will not regret it. Best tea, coffee, salads and sandwiches in town. Ohhh let's not leave out those home made cookies!! Bottom line Go!!!!! Today
My go to spot. By the name you automatically think it is only a tea lounge but in fact they have some of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever eaten. The prices are extremely reasonable with a very relaxed atmosphere. Bottom line- you will love this place!
After meaning to stop by for months, I recently found my way to SpecialTEA and was totally hooked. I've tried every sandwich option, usually as a wrap but also as a panini, and they are all absolutely delicious.
On top of their huge tea selection, they have a ton of coffee options with lattes and frozen drinks that put Starbucks to shame. They also have caffeine-free "creme" drinks that are like what fast food milkshakes dream of being when they grow up. My favorites are the S'mores one and the Mexican Xocolatl; my husband will murder you for Cake Batter. If your drink calls for milk, they'll make it with whatever kind you want, including soy milk or almond milk for people who are vegetarian or lactose intolerant.
On top of all this, they have a drink fridge with delicious sodas made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. AND they have amazing fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies and other desserts. This place is next to a Dunkin Donuts and I am sometimes tempted to run in there and demand to know why people are not in SpecialTEA instead. The prices are about the same as Starbucks and every single item is a hundred times more delicious. Go give them your money immediately.
Best Tea I Ever Had!.
This is definitely a place to come together with friends to share a large pot of tea. They have an amazing selection of teas, and are extremely helpful in creating new and exciting flavors. Their sandwiches are amazing as well. My favorite on their current menu is the curry chicken with coconut dip. That coconut dip is out of this world!
The service is has always been the best; calm comfortable friendly atmosphere. I enjoy having confidence in referring SpecialTea to anyone. They always take care of their customer.
Can you make my tea Special for me please?. I have been dubbed the pickiest and most demanding person anyone has ever met, with a passion for tea and light desserts in a relaxing setting. But I never knew where I could get such things in an environment that would catter to me and make me feel comfortable. You certainly can't get that at a restaurant! Then one day a good friend of mine passed on the word of this unique creation of Tea- but in a coffee house setting. Naturally I was there the next sampling some on their White India Oolong and having the best sandwich my body could ever crave, The "Coco Curry". Heaven in every bite and sip!!! I have never tasted such an explosion of tastes before in a sandwich!!!! I think the first week of my discovering it I went there every single day and ate the same thing every single day!!! I just can't seem to get enough of it!!! This place is so welcoming, and the owners are so welcoming and friendly, you feel like you have been friends for years!! I recommend SPECIAL TEA LOUNGE to everyone I meet!!
Citysearch Editorial Review. Tea is the "special-tea" at this lounge, where nearly four dozen varieties of loose leaf teas are served in a premium coffeehouse setting. Sippers stretch out on mint-green sofas, before long tables that are ideal for cracking open one of the complimentary board games. Offerings spin the flavor wheel, from tangerine vanilla yogurt oolong to lavender mint herbal tisane, available in in 16-, 20- and 24-ounce portions. Coffee beans also have a say as pressed coffees, espressos and frappes are also whipped up. Diners with heartier appetites can dig into panini, wraps and salads. On the outer edge of the FIU campus, patrons are a mix of college coeds and tea-sipping neighbors.
