Sushi goers beware. I rely on online reviews to help guide my purchasing decisions. Because the online reviews were so amazing for this place and its proximity to my childhood home, I ordered a $25 certificate for Sushi Leno. I was excited to visit this place even though it is in a really odd location.

However, my experience was so very bad here, that I signed up on citysearch just to write my review and warn others who might buy coupons on other sites based solely on what I consider potentially false reviews.

First of all, they are no longer accepting some online coupons, so don't buy one.

(2) They are a sushi AND Chilean restaurant. Get sushi at a sushi restaurant - period.

(3) Sushi was way overpriced, especially given their industrial location. And most of the rolls were terrible. The Waffle Roll was good and that was it.

(4) Worst of all, without telling us, they substituted fake stringy pink crab for eel in THREE eel rolls. I guess they figured if they covered it in eel sauce, we wouldn't know. The owner claims that I am lying about this, which is hilarious considering that I am pretty sure he was the sushi chef that made them. He knew exactly what he was doing.

(5) Service was extremely slow and lackluster even though we were the only people dining there for most of the meal.

So there you go. I have no idea how their Chilean food is, or how they treat customers who haven't spent the well earned money on coupons.

But beware of all these amazing reviews - I had a crappy meal for well over $100, when I could have easily gone to the grocery store and had better, faster food for under $50.

Extremely happy customer. I decided to try Sushi Leno out last night when I took my girlfriend to a late night Sunday dinner. We had heard about the restaurant online and since there aren't many good sushi restaurants in the Hialeah area, this seemed like the obvious choice. We walked in around 9:50, about ten minutes before closing time, and were greeted with warm smiles from all the employees. This instantly gave me a good feeling because I'm used to the dirty looks and plans to spit in my food when I walk in anytime near closing at other restaurants. The waiter warmly greeted us and since we had already done our research online, we ordered the "Waffle Roll', "Havana Roll" and of course two the classic "JB roll" and one"California roll". The sushi came out incredibly fast, and as soon as it arrived at our table, you could see that these were truly chefs. The presentation was wonderful, and the food truly looked wonderfully fresh. Not surprisingly, the sushi ended up tasting absolutely delicious. This is by far one of thee best sushi restaurants I have luckily come across. For 5 rolls at an excellent price, we left as s, with plans of coming back.

And on top of all of this, this is my first YELP review I have ever placed. The food was truly just THAT good. Give these guys a shot. There's no way you'll be dissapointed.

Just Amazing. Let me start saying the other review is just unfair and a real lie.

This place is amazing. Sushi, ceviche and Chilean cuisine under one roof. Service is great and the food is even better. Try the tostones with ceviche, to die for.

Located in the corner of a shopping/office center it could be easily missed. Once inside you are greeted by a friendly staff. Sushi bar, fresh Ceviche stuffed tostones and other dishes await. Good variety of sushi and Chilean foods. Very comfortable. They also have a room for floor seating, pretty cool.

Poor service and failure to honor sold coupons = loser. They were ok, until nov 1. Now you walk in and first thing you see is a sign that says tell them if you have a restaurant dot com, groupon, or livingsocial coupon. Reason is so they can tell you they no longer accept them and to ask the vendor for a refund. That's horse dung.

Chicken didn't taste fresh...salmon was fine...but poor service in honoring their obligations makes them unworthy and overpriced w/o the coupon. Would never return again. Stay away.
