i would put 3 stars out of 5. Ordered about 8-10 bikinis this summer. Workers were accommodating and actually extended my return time because i were supposed to receive some of items later than first items arrived. I left for myself 2 absolutely beautiful bikinis. But about refund: after a month contacted them that i still didn't receive a refund(about $450) and they apologized and said that refund "was misfiled due to a technical glitch in their system". Not sure how it was possible...They did refund anyway...But since they not the first online store that "misfiled" my refund i believe that most of online stores hoping that some customers will simply forget to ask them for refund, since it takes 30 days for refund... Sadly..
The worst customer service. Buy at your
own risk! If you absolutley know you won;t return anything I would still think about buying. I tried to return something and they said I was a few days late and only gave me a store credit. They counted transit times to me and back to them, that;'s what made it late. I don;t want a stoer credit since their selection is limited. Now I'm stuck buying an overpriced bathing suit from them.
They had an I don;t care attend in thier emails. DON"T BUY FROM THIS PLACE YOU"LL REGRET IT>

I would NEVER order from this company. I really wish I had read all of the other reviews about how bad the return policy/customer service is before I placed my order.
After placing the order, I decided to cancel it. So within 10 minutes I called to cancel the order. The woman on the phone couldn't help me, I could only email customer service with my issue (which I have never heard of, what kind of "customer service" can get only via email....Very poor).
So I emailed and I was then told that with "automated shipping" I could not cancel my order. But yet almost 48 hours later I still have not received an email stating my order shipped. It seems very shady and I do not think in anyway shape or form this company values customer service. They then told me I could refuse the package for 5% restocking fee. Which I would totally understand, if I had waited 24 hours to cancel the order, but not within 10 minutes. Oh I forgot to mention that the top I ordered said it wouldn't ship for 3-5 days, but for some reason they still can't cancel the top.
I would also like to say that Zappos has many of the same brands Orchid has. They give 100% the best customers service. I ended up ordering a suit from Zappos after I received the email from Orchids customer service. This was yesterday, my suit from Zappos will be here at 3pm today!!! I just ordered it yesterday -- oh yes, the was FREE SHIPPING NEXT DAY AIR!!! And it was cheaper!!!!
If this company would realize that customers will always return items. If you have a return policy that is easy to work with and are more understanding customer service team, the customer would most likely make another purchase. Especially since ordering swimsuits via the internet is so hard they would get more returning customers. Returning customers are how retail stores make money, a 1 time customer doesn't come back. A returning customer comes back and usually brings a friend! But instead they won't help you, they would rather get a measly 6 dollar restocking from you and loose you as a customer.
Watch out Orchid Boutique, the only way customers have a chance to fight back is reviews, which 1 bad review is far worse than a few good ones.
bad return policies, bad customer service.. I was very excited to order from here. Was referred through a promotion in people style and spent over $200 on my first order. One of my swimsuits didn't fit - which probably happens often in the swimsuit business - when exchanging it I was unable to use the original promotion or a new current promotion, being told that promotions are for "first time orders only." I emailed back and forth - and received only sporadic emails in return. I expressed my dissatisfaction and received a call 5 days later, someone saying they couldn't help me but I could place a new order with my store credit! Their promotion policy seems quite sneaky with an online swimsuit business - of course some suits aren't going to fit - then they have your $$ and won't let you use a future promotion to receive a new discount! They then charged me $10 shipping on my new order - free shipping doesn't apply to returns. They clearly don't care about return business, as I expressed several times that I would not be shopping with them again and they just said ok cheerfully. good luck if you choose to shop here.
The Orchid Boutique Returns Policy and Communication. The Orchid Boutique is very stringent and biased with their return policy. They counted the days starting on the day they shipped to me and then stopped on the day they actually received the item back into their warehouse. By my calculations I was within the 30 days, but according to them I was not. Anyway it was very close. They marked the return form "Refuse", charged my credit card $10 for shipping and sent the item (that does not fit me) back. It was in perfect condition as I tried it on 1 time and put it back into the plastic bag. It is very difficult to communicate with The employees at The Orchid Boutique. You have to communicate with them through email. This is really difficult to do when trying to work out a problem. They refuse to speak with you on the phone regarding anything other than placing an order. Apparently the returns dept. is not in the same place as the Customer Service dept. where you place your order. After I sent a couple emails trying to figure out why they wouldn't do an exchange on the product, I received a response from them saying that they had sent an email giving me a 1 time exception. The email said if I could get the item back to them within 7 days and pay a %10 restocking fee, and of course I would have had to pay to overnight and track shipping to get it to them within those 7 days. I would also have to pay shipping on the exchanged item being sent to me. That's a lot of extra money just to get them to exchange the item they should have exchanged in the first place. After another email to the company asking them to please exchange the top that does not fit me, I received a response stating that they sent me an email granting a one time exception and that since I did not receive the email and get the item back to them within those 7 days, they would not be able to help me further. I'm stuck with a bikini top (in perfect condition that they are still selling at full price) that does not fit me. I emailed them and asked them to advise me how to get a written complaint to the owner of the company. They did not respond to me. I sent one more email and they did not respond. I've done a lot of internet shopping and I've never had anything like this happen before.
If you're into luxury bikinis... look no further. I was surprised at how special and hand detailedtheir bikinis were. Really luxury stuff. PERFECT for pool parties at the Mondrian, which is where I spend my sundays. The prices are totally reasonable (compared to brands like Beach Bunny) considering the level of detail. Bought myself an itsy bisty brazilian bikini by Vix with sequins, and i absolutely love it. Location is in Brickell and close to the metro. Will go back for sure.
Great Agua Bendita Selection. I love Agua Bendita bikinis. I searched around Miami and The Orchid Boutique definitely has the best selection. They are also located in Brickell which was very convenient. Highly recommend for any designer swimwear lover.
great swimwear, close to my house. I found this luxury swimsuit site online that i was going to order from, until i looked up their address and saw that they're actually in Brickell!!!! How cool was it to walk four blocks to their office and pick up my two new bathing suits? amazing. love my new vix swimwear bikinis!
