Citysearch Editorial Review.
After opening in 2009 as an offshoot of Minneapolis-based Manny's Steakhouse, this throwback chophouse adopted its local name a year later. The elegant dining room is a beefy mix of dark woods, black leather banquettes and gargantuan steak knives on white tablecloths. The outdoor patio offers romantic bayside views. Portions are Chicago-sized huge, from two pounds of king crab legs to a hefty double porterhouse. Lamb chops, Bone-in Rib Eye and Chilean sea bass provide more surf and turf options. The downtown setting gives it a corporate power lunch vibe by day, before carnivorous couples and well-to-do revelers take over at night.
