Citysearch Editorial Review.
Culinary arts trump martial arts at this SoBe sushi joint that is more stylish than its kitschy name suggests. Diners can sit in the intimate dining room, watching over master rollers dishing out artistically plated maki and sashimi, but the real pulse is outside. An open-air patio finds guests surrounded by palm trees and canopies with great views of the South Beach revelers walking along Collins. Taking geographic liberties with the restaurant's Asian name, the menu offers New York Strip with sweet potato fries and a chocolate souffle desert alongside the more logical miso soup and Chinese spare ribs.
