stepped up a notch!. Bar Rosso is this little hidden gem of a restaurant behind Publix in Aventura. We went on a Thursday and there was live music, which was amazing. The bartender was really friendly and the staff was super nice. Our server was charming. The food itself was delish. We had the eggplant (big enough for two to share and it was a small plate), We tried the veal tortellini special in a light creamy garlic sauce (hello yummy-ness) and the wood grilled octopus was so tender it cut with a fork. Those who eat octopus know it's either great or awful so kudos to the chef. The strip steak was cooked perfectly and sat atop veggies. The overall meal was just lovely and we'd go back again - now that we know where it is!

Italian trattoria knows its grapes.. Even in its name, the bar comes first. Guests step into this cozy trattoria and are drawn to the wraparound marble bar or the long communal table with elevated bar stools. Even the dining room pays homage to the potent grape juice, as seated patrons are surrounded by glass-encased wine bottles. More than 100 varieties of red, white and rose are available, hailing from Europe and California. No sipping on empty stomachs. Small plates of fried risotto balls or meatball sliders are popular with the cocktail crowd, as seated diners dig into heartier servings of chicken marsala, veal chops or seafood linguini.
