A Most-welcoming Steakhouse.
Yes, the food is great. Yes, the ‘Power Hour’ is one of the best happy hours I’ve ever been to. But there are two other virtues that make this particular Morton’s a great find. One, just by walking in there, you are important to them; they treat you great, no matter whether you are there for the Power Hour or for the full-fledged sit-down steak dinner experience. Second, the people who work at Morton's are not models and actors killing time until their big break, but culinary and hospitality professionals—they love to talk about food, where to buy it, how to prepare it, and where their favorite places are to eat it. So when you’re tired of the hype of South Beach and the overwrought Fontainebleu, go to Morton’s for a relaxed and delicious dinner.

Classic steakhouse chain hits the beach..
This may be the fourth Morton's to open in town, but it's also the first to take advantage of Miami's coastal setting by going with a beachfront location. In other words, an outdoor patio is available beyond the formal chophouse dining room with its traditional rich woods, deep reds and white tablecloths. The ritzy Bar 12-21 opens a half hour before the dining room, arming early birds with libations and bar bites. Then come the steaks, starring Porterhouse and filet mignon cuts. Those in tune with the Atlantic Ocean views can opt for Maine lobsters or sesame-encrusted tuna.
