Europa Hair Studio and Fernando rock!

For two years I was on a quest to find someone in Miami to cut and color my hair. I tried name salons, boutique salons and independent stylists. Nothing worked. With some stylists, I felt I wasn’t stylish enough; for others, I felt like an afterthought as the scissors quickly sliced through my hair. My hair had been ruined by a horrible color job at a previous CG salon.

Then a friend of my daughter recommended Fernando at Europa Hair Studio. I went prepared to see him – pictures from magazines, pictures of myself in a hair style I liked…. The most amazing thing happened!

Fer pulled up a chair and talked to me for 30 minutes about what I wanted, what had not work with other stylist…. He actually listened to me. He took the time to get to know something about me and above all, put me at ease. Without saying a word, it was clear he was willing to work with me.

Since that day, we have been inseparable! He has taken me into entirely new directions – at times my hair is longer and now it is shorter. He’ll layer and thin my hair to give it more texture and volume – all depending on what it needs at that particular appointment. We are quite a team when I am in the chair – I’m looking for the trouble spots and he is there to fix them or say, “Don’t touch!”.

Since I have been working with Fer, I have received more compliments than I can remember. He also has directed the coloring of my hair – encouraging splashes or flashes of color to brighten up my overall skin tone and contrast it to my usual black attire. He’s dedicated time and effort and given me very candid opinions of what looks good.

I appreciate Fer’s willingness to work with me to find the right look for me. It has been a process and a commitment to get where I am. Fer has made that possible.

It has been three years now, Fer has made my hair and the hair of my two daughters healthy and beautiful!

The whole staff is very courteous and attentive to our needs, the receptionist is a sweetheart, I could not ask for anything more! We would not trust our hair to anyone else.

Good colorists are hard to find, Fernando is fantastic1

Just went for my second visit to Europa Hair Studio to see Fernando. Last time was about a month ago for a cut and this time we did color. Let me just say, both were fantastic and I would highly recommend going to him for either or both.

My cut was great. When I came in, I was unhappy because my previous cut (from a different stylist at another salon) was just not working. I had too much bangs and no layers and the whole thing was looking like a mullet but Fernando fixed it up and gave me great shape which has maintained during this past month.

The color he did was a great success. He is kind and sweet and listened to what I wanted and what I did not like and made his suggestions and the end product was great. I got a compliment on the street that precise evening when I went out with my friends!

The salon prices are not cheap by any means but its is 100% worth it if you want great service and a fantastic end product.

Best salon experience! Highly reccomend it!

I recently was referred by a great friend to Europa Hair Studio on Coral Way to get some balayage highlights. I was very nervous about going as I had not gotten highlights done in over 10 years! I had some bad experiences and refused to get anymore work done on my hair. My friend GiGi who has been going there for some time strongly recommended that I take a chance and go see her Colorist Fernando. I am very happy that I listened to him! Fernando, was superb. He is very personable and welcomed me with a smile. I showed him pictures and he was very upfront on what he liked and disliked for my new look. He wasn't afraid to say the truth. Honesty goes a long way! I was there for about 3 hours and the staff was pleasurable and hospitable. I even had to bring my 6year old daughter who even had a blast watching mommy get colored, cut and pampered. Fernando recommended that I get a haircut too as I desperately needed one, He was a master with the scissors. He knew the look that I was going for and commanded the floor. The end result was a masterpiece and I have since told all my friends about my experience at Europa Hair Studio. Its definitely worth the time and money!

Worst Hair Salon Ever!!!! Stay Away

Whatever you do Pleaseeee stay away from this Europa Hair Salon!!!!!

Let me tell you my horrible experience: I went to this salon for a color correction with the so called HAIR GURU "Fernando". He supposedly has a rep for being the best hairdresser/colorist there "FALSE". When I came in for my appt. he approach me and started criticizing my hair asking me who had done my highlights because they were horrible and that I should be grateful that I found him to fix it. He started talking all this CRAP that he was a hairdresser for many famous people in Paris blah blah blah to make himself look good. Whatever at that moment I thought I could trust him with my hair based on all the good reviews I've read here, so I let him do what he though would look natural on me. Well to make the story short he applied an ash color to my already blonde highlighted hair, AHHHH so you can already imagine how my hair turn out "GREEN" and it was like a greenish mold color ewww horrible. If you are supposedly a true professional hairdresser for so many years like you claim how are you not going to know that you cannot mix ash with blonde/yellow hair, isn't the color wheel the first thing they teach you in beauty school!!!! Well to top it off the bill for that disaster was $ 290.00. What an horrible experience I should have just stay with the thick yellow highlight I came in with, they looked much better than the disaster this guy had done. When I left I wanted to cry every time I looked at my hair in the mirror, so i finally decided to go and buy a box tint and do it myself. Worst experience ever, trust me do not go to these people they know nothing about hair color and all these good reviews you see here are all FALSE and written by the fat gay receptionist that sit in the front with nothing to do all day. Trust me when I tell you this because I saw it with my own eyes. When I went to pay I saw the receptionist on yelp writing what looked to be a review on their own salon. This is the only way they can guarantee clients and unfortunately for me I believe all the good reviews I saw here. Please stay away if you want to save your hair.....you've been warned.

Love my hair!

I went to Europa Hair Studio today, I have read all the reviews and decided that I will give them a chance. I love my new hair color highlights, Fernando was the nicest hairdresser I ever encounter. Donald is the owner and he was very welcoming and hands on on everything, they are kind and very talented, I am speaking from the bottom of my heart and because I am the pickiest person in the world. I will for ever go back!
