Throwback chophouse has a breezy way to the Windy City..
There are no Daleys filling up the bouncy red velvet booths at this upscale chophouse, reminiscent of the classier carnivore hangouts of the Midwest. The faux Chicago skyline mural above the wraparound bar isn't fooling anyone, and given its central Grove location, "anyone" is a healthy mix of tourists and meat-seeking local revelers. Signature cuts include a 16-ounce prime rib, a 24-ounce porterhouse and an 8-ounce filet mignon. Lobster tails and mango crab cakes lead the charge for those sidestepping red meat. A bakery, deli and gift shop are there for breezier Windy City recollections.
