North Miami waterfront eatery creates a homey setting..
True to its name, this restaurant is located next to the bridge that separates Miami from the ritzier Bal Harbor islands. The menu also dreams of faraway places, with overseas ports of calls in Spain (seafood paella), Italy (ham and cheese agnolotti), and France (entrecote). The decor is romantic in a homespun way, with flowing curtains and a hodgepodge of lighting fixtures (ceiling fans, lanterns, hanging lamps, and recessed lighting). It's a neighborhood clientele, and that includes both North Miami locals who crave international cuisine and Bal Harbor residents who have given their maids the night off.
